We had a wonderful stay at Henry’s Place. A family run business with a pleasant atmosphere. Cleanliness was at point always and we returned to a spotless room daily. A very high standard of maintenance throughout. All family members were approachable and supportive from arranging our tours, booking taxis, advising on local cuisine to recommending best eateries/restaurants. The beach was literally less than 5 minutes away from Henry’s Place, making it all the more convenient to head to the beach at anytime. It was a pleasure to walk down Holiday Street consisting of cafes, souvenir shops, salon/beauticians, street vendors selling crafts etc..again minutes away from Henry’s place, certainly gave out the vibes of being on holiday, living up to its name, ‘Holiday Street’. Having been our first visit to Goa, the family went the extra mile to show us the hidden gems of Goa. Overall, I would throughly recommend staying at Henry’s Place and I would have no hesitation booking here again on our next visit. We stayed at Henry’s Place for 3 weeks over the New Year. Philomena gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived at 4am. Our room was lovely and clean with a large fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, water and milk provided. There was even a couple of beers cooling In the fridge for our arrival. The room was cleaned every day with clean towels and bedding every 2/3 days. The location of the hotel is brilliant. A 5 minute stroll to the beach with various bars and restaurants on the door step. As the hotel is located at the bottom of holiday street there’s no road noise to disturb sleep. The guys in the restaurant/bar were always friendly and plenty of people were eating and drinking in there every day We definitely hope to return very soon. One of the worst persons to stay with in Goa. These people will cheat with you if you rent a bike from them. They cheated with us by charging 3000 as penalty for bike defect which we never did. They are fraud people. Stay never recommend with me. Hann..if you wana spoil your holidays mood then u can definately seek their services. Even rooms are not so good and nothing special about this palace, you will get a better place to stay at much cheaper and best facilities in this area. these mother son duo are purely a cheaters. avoid avoid avoid. never recommend this to anyone at all.

My wife and I have known of Henry’s for many years and have eaten there several times. We have just returned from Calangute, staying in another hotel but decided to go to Henry’s for drinks and food. What a good decision it was. The bar and restaurant is small, spotless and above all so friendly that we wished we had stayed there. Jack and Rackish who ran it were very helpful, knowledgeable and could not do enough to make us feel at home. The choice of food and drinks was very good and the food was well cooked and very tasty. All in all a lovely place to call in for drinks and food, you will not be disappointed. Chris and Gill

My Wife and I have just returned from Calengute, where we stayed at another Hotel. We decide to pop in one morning for a meal, which was excellent. After that we ate here most days and always had a great meal at a reasonable price. Many thanks to Jack and Rakesh for their hospitality.We are already looking forward to returning next year, when we intend to stay in their rooms which are very clean. They also have a battery back up to their electrical supply which is very useful in an area prone to power cuts. Many thanks to you all Regards Phil & Eileen
