At first glance, Hotel Green Pastures looked like a nice place from the outside — calm surroundings and a pretty exterior. But the moment we entered the rooms, everything changed. The rooms were dusty, the bathrooms were filthy, and we were so uncomfortable, we had to leave the same day. Looks are definitely deceiving here.we were told that it is 5 star room but there was nothing like that and the money is not worth according to the rooms n stay ... we were 21 people came at 11am at night and we agreed to stay n pay but they even allowed us we have to leave that place stay in car for whole night in very cold weather...very very very disappointing 😞

Our stay at Hotel Green Pasture was not just disappointing — it was a traumatizing nightmare. We were a group of 21 people, including small children and senior citizens, and the treatment we received was inhuman. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely small, dirty, and filled with cockroaches. Cleanliness was totally missing, and the space was too tight for even basic movement. When we politely raised complaints, instead of helping us, the hotel staff became rude and aggressive. Things turned worse when they forcefully kicked us out of the hotel around midnight – without giving us any refund. The worst part: It was the middle of the night, we had no place to go, and all nearby options were shut. With children crying and elderly people exhausted, we were left with no choice but to sleep inside the bus. It was cold, uncomfortable, and one of the most humiliating experiences we've ever faced. There was no humanity, no responsibility, and no basic decency from the hotel side. What we expected to be a peaceful vacation turned into an unforgettable disaster. 👉 Please stay away from Hotel Green Pasture. If you want to protect your family — especially your wife, children, or elders — from getting angry, sick, or stranded, do NOT come here.

Hotel Green Pastures was a terrible experience. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms were unhygienic, and everything felt poorly maintained. They make big promises online but deliver nothing. I would never stay here again and advise others to avoid this place completely.

⭐ hardly Terrible experience – not worth ₹50,000! We booked Green Pastures Kodaikanal by Hill Country for a group stay, expecting a premium experience, but it was a disaster from the moment we checked in. The rooms we were given looked nothing like the pictures shown online — the actual condition was outdated, small, and dirty. Absolutely none of our group members liked the rooms, and after much frustration, we were forced to change hotels just a few hours into the trip, losing the entire ₹50,000 booking. The room quality is extremely poor – tiny, with worn-out furniture, beds that feel like hospital cots, and bathrooms that were below 2-star standards. This property seriously lacks professionalism and maintenance. Think twice before booking – this place is not what it claims to be.

I recommend not booking directly through the Green Pastures - Hill Country Resort’s website. Instead, use online travel booking platforms where prices are significantly lower. In my experience, the difference can be as much as 40%, making it a much better deal for the same accommodations.
