My last visit to Chennai was 15 yrs ago, I was extremely anxious about my accommodation this time. However, all my fears fly away as I walked into GRT hotel in Chennai. The ambience, the staff & service was all too good & at its excellences. The staff were very friendly, kind & very helpful esp Sridhar K, who also helped us carrying our shifts bag other bigger items to our room. Staff gave their service to us w/o any expectations fr us guest. I'll definitely stay in GRT in my future stays.

As a black woman from the U.S., traveling with my Indian in-laws and my fiancé, I felt completely welcomed here. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating. One of the front desk employees even came up to help me style my Lehenga. I will be externally grateful to Savitha (sorry if I misspelled your name). I will recommend the Grand Hotel to all of my family back at home! Thank you so much for an incredible experience ❤️.

My stay in GRT Grand Chennai for 4 days was excellent. This was my second time staying there and both the times we had organised events in the Art Bistro and the Banquet food has been top class both the times. Mr Karthik in the front desk was very helpful and courteous and assisted with admin issues. Mr Jayamurugan, the Chef was extremely helpful in providing many vegan items as part of Buffet breakfast (3 vegans in family). He ensured by customising a vegan menu and ensured we got vegan breakfast on all days. Big thanks to him for his wonderful assistance. Mr Nataeajan, Banquets Chef sat down with us to design a customise vegan menu and spread for our event, one of the first to have 100% vegan lunch spread. He personally came to lunch to ensure food was to our satisfaction. All guests loved the food and said items were very tasty. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and enjoyable.

The reception staff should confirm mode of payment at arrival itself I’ve paid on my own for a speech I delivered for Kauvery hospital which said they take care of everything At departure your staff at front office could not confirm and I’ve to pay for an invited lecture. Make sure and tell the guest at arrival itself so that we check with those people who invited us Having come 320 kms for an invited lecture ive to also spend money for my stay and food

My stay at GRT was excellent. The food was amazing and rooms were clean . staff were friendly and helpful. Valsa Priya was exceptional in the service provided. she was so helpful and made the stay a pleasant experience. Buffet breakfast spread was amazing and food was delicious. The location of the hotel is ideal.
