The grande cascade is a cheating hotel . I booked a room for 21st Aug 2022 more than two weeks ago . They confirmed me on the morning that the room is available . I went with family at 6pm . They said they cannot provide room because i came one hour late. This is not a school or college to send student out of the class for coming late . There could be various reason a guest comes late an hour,like traffic , bus or delayed train . They did not even care what i will do . Such a psycho people . Kindly do not book the room with them . If you do you have to stand on the road along with your family

We had booked 2 rooms for the 26th of Dec with these guys. We had called in twice to confirm that we are traveling and will get in late at night and hence to make sure our rooms are ready. Once we landed in Chennai, they called back confirming if we are on our way or not. Once we reached there, they told us they had given our rooms away even after confirming we are on our way 3 times. They showed us alternate rooms which were all very small or had single beds which didn't fit our needs. They took us to a sister hotel owned by the same owner, which reeked of smoke and had super tiny rooms. Finally, we had enough of their excuses and decided that they did not deserve a single Rupee from us. Disgruntled and unhappy we left their premises and booked another hotel at 2 AM in the night with a 1 year old baby super tired due to the ordeal. Please be careful when dealing with these folks as they use the bait and switch trick on customers and give them rooms that they wouldn't have booked in the first place. Hence, make sure you only pay once you check your rooms and not before hand.

Worst hotel in Chennai, Do no book this hotel as you would be shifted to cheap lodge. No Assurance for booking thru Goibibo. Reservation to this property will land you to cheap Lodge.. at least they could have called and ask to cancel the booking.

It was my second stayed with Grand Cascade, clean room with well furnished and much enough space for two person. Comfortable and clean bathroom also large size. Good service provided, southindian breakfast. Overall good.
