This is a long overdue review I wanted to write for our stay in this hotel. We traveled there in March 2017 and everything out there (the location, facilities, bed, bathrooms, food) was excellent but the thing that stood out was the hospitality offered by its staff - I remember a guy called Vishnu who along with his team took care of everything that we had asked for. We had specifically requested the cuisines to be made custom to our specific tastes when we had checked-in and every time we dined at the hotel (in all, we stayed for 4 days at the hotel and had at least a meal out there on every day), not only did Vishnu and his team surprise us by delivering on what we had requested for, they offered us more varieties to try (without us asking for it) and we were very pleased with their service as with our diet preferences, we often do not get that kind of service in most places. I'd rate everything a 5/5 (couldn't be more pleased with our stay) and especially rate the hotel staff as exceeding our expectations (i.e. 6/5) for their service

My Best Experience in Munnar!

I’ve been to Munnar several times. But this time, choosing Forest Glade Resorts made the trip adorable! We reached very late night around 11:30, we were completely exhausted after long drive, check in was smooth and the warm welcome and the way the staff took care of us animated us to enjoy a late night dinner. The food was so delicious – they have all ranges of cousins, the smoked chicken steak was scrumptious. The staff and chef made sure that they provide what we asked for and made the best what they can. My wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the entire place. The garden and lush green surroundings unfolds the beauty of nature. My best part was sitting cozy at the balcony, enjoying the constant cool and fresh breeze with spicy mist. Felt Charismatic! We really enjoyed the room facilities and the cool-subtle feeling lingering around as we don’t like vibrant plasma colors or animated walls. They have carefully used colors and decors in such a way they radiate tranquility and peace of mind. We stayed 2 nights there. Their staff helped us for trekking through woods just behind the resort – the path way starts from resorts and connects to woods. My kids really enjoyed walking through the woods listening chirping of birds and crickets, enjoying sunrise. After trekking a hot bath in Jacuzzi made the day. I appreciate the efforts all staff put in to make every guest feel great. Every moment we spent there was cherishing, from arrival till we bid adieus.

I visited Forest Glade on my second day at Munnar. After stopping at our first resort I thought it would be a mistake having booked another hotel for day 2 coz it will fall short of our expectations But it dint! We chose the premium valley view room the one with the jacuzzi!!! And man, it was such a good decision to make. We dint really need anything to do as we just sat all day and relaxed in the jacuzzi. A jacuzzi big enough for two! The view of that of the lush green tea plantations, the beautiful clouds, the cold breeze blowing as we were right atop, the soothing sound of the rains and to add to it the warmth of the jacuzzi and our Chai. They served up some really traditional and good lunch. The staff was really helpful and courteous. There is an inhouse souvenir shop which was beautiful and also the ambience was very rustic and gave us the kerala-y feeling. The stay was really beautiful and the experience was beautiful. Thanx Forest Glade for making us feel one among the clouds.

Beautiful view from rooms and great stay with good food and service. Hospitality at its best. Rooms are very clean and and spacious. The hotel staff is very receptive and helping. May be the best place to stay in munnar
