Stayed here for several nights recently. Excellently located a short walk from the MRT station and Little India. Absolutely spotless dorm rooms and common areas. A decent breakfast is included with your stay, but lots of eateries and food shops are nearby. Dorm beds are large with privacy curtains and plenty of plugs for all your devices. Well air conditioned rooms and comfortable thick blankets ensure a very comfortable sleep. I would happily stay here again on my next visit.

5 nights in female dorm, damned freezing but warm quilt and curtain to keep the cold out. During my stay I never saw a receptionist, nor for check in or check out, but following the written instructions was easy. Very clean. Kitchen area with kettle, coffee, tea, sugar and fridge. Not a socializing place as quite small.

I have recently stayed at dreamlodge, partly for work and a short getaway. What gotten my attention was first the 5 star reviews at seemingly everywhere they are listed. However, that was not what dreamlodge only had to offer. Tucked in a private location but yet accessible to most parts of the city, I will say the lodge is truly a hidden gem among the nearby hotels costing more than double their worth. I appreciate the clean dorms and common areas(they have a no shoes policy), a clean and bright pantry area where i can indulge in a morning coffee and catch up on emails. The pods are spacious enough and the sheets are clean(very important factor to me). They have better than average toilets and laundry machines if you require. For most part of the stay, the place operates on a system where you have to be respectful of the rules and be a considerate person (you are in Singapore after all you know, well known for rules). The staff are hospitable and clearly local. If you are not ready to experience new culture or new things in fact, it may be difficult for you. For what I know, the owners of the lodge do not man up the place at every hour. However, you can get all the help you need in the lodge. Everything is well thought of and there are labels and signages everywhere, very much like the streets of Singapore. It takes some initiative to know your way around, but that is part of coming to a new country, experiencing and exploring, no? Last I checked, the place is not a hotel concept where you have room service and have staff waiting on you. In other words, you have to do some adulting. I do have my fair share of issues during my stay, but i appreciate the assistance I get and usually, the staff go the extra mile to make sure I am happy. (I do know the owners fairly but they don't know i am there). Alot is built on communication and understanding. Sometimes to get good service, we have to first be a good guest. I have noticed some bad reviews, but I also seen some bad behaviours. I truly enjoyed my stay, and I hope everyone does too.

The manager, Joey & the staff, rachel. Both of them are unsympathetic & ungracious to the customer. They refused to help the customer who truly needs help. They close their eyes. They simply wanted to earn money & ignore everything . Very disappointed & appalled about it. Though the remarks are good. Wondering why? As the customers refuse to say the truth. This hostel doesn't even deserve a star. Thanks

Excellent. I could sleep better than at home lol. Hostel gets cleaned every day and bed stuff gets changed on a regular bases too. location is good. Bus and train stations are both nearby, as well as restaurants and a 7 eleven. Guided tours are offered as well as maps and pamphlets. Only thing i can think of i didnt like was that they say that they offer breakfast (only apples and oranges), but on the kitchen wall there is a sign it says "breafast will not be available during covid". All hotels already resumed the breakfast.
