Facilities are good - wish it was maintained better

This is a hotel that has a lot of facilities - A room has a fridge, a couple of shelves, a lot of vessels, induction cooker, a washing machine, wifi routers on each room, electric kettle, tea bags, coffee powder, milk and sugar. But the cleanliness is bad. The doors are full of dust. The electric kettle was rusty, the fridge had rotten items that the previous visitors might have left back, the water in the taps were hard and salty. The chairs and table in the balcony were full of dust. The hotel really needs a lot of change. I feel that the items offered were never changed from inception. The internet had very good speed, No mosquitoes, no bugs. The attitude of the people running this is not that good. I felt that they were a bit aggressive. No one was at the reception when we reached there, and I finally spotted one guy who guided me to a nearby shop. Usually the person running the shop sits at this shop. They did not accept the room keys for safe custody when we were going out for sight seeing, and argued back what I would do if I found something missing in my room. This was the first time I was seeing a hotel guy say such a thing.

‘Divine Calling’ hotel Vrindavan

Wasn’t very impressed with the property under ‘Divine Calling’. The hygiene level is poor....tea cups stained, bed linen cleanliness not particularly impressive. Lack of attention to basic essential details glaring - main door cannot be locked from inside, with has a flimsy aluminium latch... no plug point on the tea kettle slab-one has to take the kettle to some other point. General lack of basic understanding of hospitality service is evident everywhere. They don’t accept credit cards too !! But it was heartening to find the young promotor of the chain calling me up from Mumbai and promising improvement in all the areas.
