One of the best vacations we have had! The resort is like home away from home, the staff like family and the food cooked with love. The ambience of this place is very peaceful amidst the thick jungles of Havelock. A mere kilometer away is a blue flag beach, radha nagar, ranked 7th in Asia for its beauty and cleanliness. The resort staff are very hospitable and caring. The head chef would come and converse with us and always accomodated our dietary requirements (vegan). We will most certainly be visiting De Foret on Havelock again!

There are no nearby restaurants. No option other than Hotel restaurant. Breakfast is below average. Tamarind water served as Sambar and chutney made of desiccated coconut powder tasted bad. Baked items are dry . No fresh Juices. Limited salad options. Vey slow service And 900 Rs charged for a plate of Chicken Tikka masala !!!

We had a pleasant stay at De Foret. The room was very spacious, near and clean. Swimming pool was very nice. Staffs were very helpful. Food at their restaurant was also good. 2 wheelers are available for rent. Radhanagar beach is jus 2.5 kms from here. Over all we had a good time.

The place is peaceful and very good hospitality.We enjoyed staying here . Would recommend people to stay here. It is close to Radha Nagar and elephant beach. The food was mild and elders were comfortable with the food. Thanks for the excellent hospitality.

Excellent service by the staff at the hotel. Will prefer staying here on my next andaman trip too. Food was also excellent at the restaurant. They also provided scooty rentals at standard rates which was very helpful. The hotel is located in a very serene and green location.
