Avoid! We wrote to Cubic Pratunam Hotel before booking and when booking that we would require a balcony to smoke. They took the booking telling us to request a balcony when we checked in, only to find out when we got there that no smoking was allowed, even on the balcony. Therefore we booked under false pretence. It gets worse... Upon our arrival our key card did not work. Then we discovered the safe didn't work. The next morning as I stood fully soaped up, hair too, the water stopped completely. I had enough and booked another hotel. The place has no professionalism or care for their guests. Book at another hotel, do not use this one. It's cheap and nasty.

This hotel a has also a hostel inside called Cubic Bed Pratunam that in my point of view is not suitable for socialize and is very boring. They ask me 500 THB for key deposit that is not very cheap to be Thailand.

Cheat and terrible

I had so many unhappy and unsatisfied experience in my stay here. Firstly, upon check in I booked Cubic hotel pratunam but was somehow transfered to Spitze Hotel (happens to be in the same building) without any prior notification or explanation. Secondly, there was no refill of toilet tissue when the cleaner made up the room. I had to personally go to the lobby to request for more. Thirdly, I went to lobby to request for a late checkout which was agreed with the staff latest by 12.30pm. However just before 12 they called to my room requesting for a checkout at 12 very rudely. Where is your staff communication? and lastly the one I am.most furious is that your staff failed to inform me its a non smoking hotel. Only informed me its a non smoking room and said can smoke anywhere out of the room. So I had a few puffs at the balcony out of the room. And upon check out you claim the room has strong cigarette smell. And I had to oay a fine of 1000 baht as I had no more time to argue anymore. In Bali, indonesia this has never happened. I am never coming back and going to tell all my friends and relatives never to come here ever. Pls work on your staff communication and also information towards your customers. I also just read a review from Agoda who had the same experience of paying that 1000 baht for a smoking room. Care to explain on your cheating ethics?

Rooms were good and staff was also nice. I am Indian and i had a hard time adjusting to their breakfast. It consists of Noodles and rice and asian food, I think Bangok is growing in terms of tourism and therefore it should be suitable for all nationalities. The breakfast at least can have omelettes and cereals to the buffet that we can fill our stomach with .

Walking distance to Pratunam Market and The Platinum Fashion Mall. Reasonable distance to Ratchathewi BTS Station. Breakfast was good but looks similar in our two days stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
