The worst marriott ever I stayed in. Very poor and dated rooms, staff is like interns and service is pathetic. It’s shocking that marriott is going to these standards. As an architect for Mariott and other international brands, it’s not only upsetting but also makes a permanent blot on a brand like this. Never ever select this property for stay when in Hyderabad.

Excellent stay whilst in Hyderabad for a business trip. The Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott are adjacent to each other and connected through a passage as well. Had the opportunity of taking a look at both properties, and clearly the Courtyard is younger and has larger and airier rooms. Marriott on the other hand is rather vintage and has a very old hotel look. The room I stayed in was large, and well furnished. The service was exemplary throughout, and I think that is a key highlight of the hotel. Food was awesome. Definitely a place worth traveling to especially if you are in the Secunderabad/Begampet side.

This is a good midrange hotel. Welcome and staff (both front desk and restaurant) are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable, although there can be a little noise from the road (but this is India!). The breakfast buffet was plentiful and good, as was the dinner buffet, but we chose Al a carte, which was cheaper and suited us better. There is no alcohol license, which may be a problem for some, but you can easily walk to the other Marriott (through a link bridge) where you can get a drink (and there is another good restaurant).
