Dear team caravela me and my wife enjoy a lot here in beach and also all the beach hut all the staff was nice manager mr nites and the server Jayanta. Bartendar shani sapoon and chef aman and niraj armaan all the staffs are nice and polite

Our staying was fantastic all the staff was super nice specially Mr Niraj at the fish restaurant excellent service. We liked Goa and we loved caravela hotel.the beach very long and clean the sene was amazing and the room clean and the breakfast delicious

Stay 5 April 2024 – 13 April 2024 I stayed at Caravela for around a week. At first glance, upon arrival, I thought the hotel looked fantastic. The landscape and décor was fab. Whilst unloading mine and my family’s luggage, I felt the concierge were dragging the suitcases out of the airport transport van rather than lifting. They were not showing any care for my personal items. Once all the luggage was unloaded and placed in the lobby, the chap who unloaded the luggage, came to me and said that one of the suitcases is broken and the wheel has come off. He said he found it like that which is untrue as the bag was mine and brand new and everything was intact when we loaded it onto the van from the airport. I went back and forth with the chap who unloaded the luggage but he denied any accountability of damaging my suitcase. I reported this to reception. We checked into our room which happened to be the garden villa, (one of the expensive rooms) only to be super disappointed. The room was grab and very dated and had not been updated for a while. I paid a lot for this room so you can imagine how I felt. The cleaning was not up to scratch, there was dust and bits of mess on the floor which hadn’t been sept/mopped properly, not an inviting feeling at all on arrival. Later that day (1st day of arrival), the chap who broke my suitcase knocked on my room door. He came to admit fault and was very apologetic and stated that he was afraid to come clean initially as he feared what management would say and that he may lose his job. I was placed in a predicament because I can understand his situation and the fact that he told me that they would cut his wages for the cost to repair/replace my suitcase and this would put a dent his monthly wages. The next day, I spoke to reception to sort out my suitcase to which they took it in to see if they could repair it and if not, they would replace it. All week, I was the one who kept calling reception to see what was happening with my suitcase, has it been repaired, am I getting a replacement etc. Each time, the reception desk told me that someone would get back to me, but no one ever did until the 6th day of my trip. I feel like I wasted so much time during my holiday which I wasn’t happy about at all. The communication with reception and management was very poor to say the least. The day before I was supposed to checkout, I had a meeting with 2 managers. My sister and I told them the damage was done by one of their employees, who even admitted fault, however, the managers were reluctant to acknowledge this and said the damage didn’t happen by them. After an hour, we had to agree to disagree which I don’t believe was professional from their side. Overall, the stay was good, minus the above and the condition of the villa. Very disappointed with the outcome and the way my incident was handled. Only a 10% discount was provided upon check out on my expenses at the hotel which amounts to nothing, given the amount of time i spent chasing up for an update on my suitcase which was broken by the hotel.

Loved the cocktail at the reception counter. Also, the service was too good. Deepu & Kaushal were too good with the cocktail. I have been visiting this property for years and would suggest friends to do make a visit. I love this beautiful property

Wonderful experience staying here scenic, kids friendly staff and overall good good for kids.. Chef Sumesh and chef Jesuraj who is a call away ready to serve us with their outstanding food thanks chef! Ankit is too helping who help us get food great staff!
