Took a standard single bed room. Room was not in good condition for the price they are charging. There were bed bugs under the bed . Room service was good. Will not recommend to anyone. Don't be fooled from the looks of the hotel from outside. Had trouble locking the room door. There is a veg restaurant named Trupthi restaurant in the same building. You'll get tasty breakfast .

A bad experience

The bathroom fittings were old and not working properly. Water was dripping continuously. The bedsheets did not look fresh. I asked the reception fellow to change it but without even seeing the condition, he kept arguing that the sheets were new. I had booked the room based on a high tripadvisor rating, I am surprised how did they get it. Perhaps the other rooms were better. Mine was 109 on the ground floor, last on the left.

Tolerable. You'll be the only white person there. The restaurant was satisfactory. The SHEETS WERE DIRTY. The window didn't close. The shower barely worked. The reception area needs to be repainted. For 900 rupees for two nights it wasn't a bad deal but I had to ask three times to get towels and the taxi driver the hotel ordered us didn't look very professional.

Just awful

This was a non A/C room. A child of the staff carried our suitcase and offered tea, but then charged it (more than reasonably: 17 Rs, while it's 7 Rs in the train for instance). It was the dirtiest room ever seen. The towels were dirty (when they arrived, namely at 10pm, 4 hours after we checked in). The sheets were dirty. The mirrors and windows had not been cleaned for centuries. The bed was not really comfortable. The bathroom was rubbish. There was free Wi-Fi but awfully week. I still give 2/5 because paying little, it wouldn't be fair to expect much. I asked the reception - where english is poorly spoken - to book a taxi to go the airport. The guy claimed that would be "at least" 1000 Rs, while I noticed on taxi-booking website that real taxi companies charge 700, and moreover he wanted 500 now, as... booking fee. Obviously I didn't pay this booking fee. The guy called some friend who picked us up (on time), and brought us to the airport, for 1000 Rs as planned. So just to say that if you want to spare the hassle to book a taxi by yourself, this may be a good idea but you'll pay more, and will get a non-professional service.
