I can highly recommend Star Beauty as a place to stay – location is great, close to transport and riverside with nice parks and plenty of food options right nearby. Staff were absolutely fantastic, helping us with so many things – I really cannot thank them enough. I stayed in three different room types and all were great, with the larger ones definitely worth the extra money. Housekeeping was a bit patchy – a few things could’ve been slightly better cleaned – but overall this was superb place to stay and I definitely would be happy to stay again. Excellent value for money.

I booked this hotel for its proximity to my parents' house in a last-minute family emergency trip. I didn't have high expectation before the trip, as the photos are not very photogenic. I was pleasantly surprised. The actual place looks way better than the photos. The room is extremely pristine and the 11-night stay was very comfortable. All the amenities in the room are of quality and sturdy, not easily broken cheapies. The bed is also properly firm, and the bathtub provides a lot of relief. In a way it feels like staying in a old world style hotel in the north side of Rome. It's away from the touristy area but with convenient location to public transportation, and you get to be close to the locals. The hotel is small, but the management is very responsive and friendly, and the room is fit for long stay. 房間非常乾淨，家具與裝潢材質都非常固實。鄰近劍潭捷運站，交通方便。令人回想起舊世界式的歐洲旅行，找一個小旅館，租一個長待的房間。

Me and my family just recently had a 4 day vacation in Taiwan and one of the highlights of our stay is spending it in Beauty Star Hotel in Shilin Area... aside from the amenities, the free breakfast was a perfect 10. The staff were all friendly, helpful and very accommodating plus the location of the hotel is a perfect walking distance to the Shilin night market, to the Jiantan MRT station and you could access a taxicab in no time...

Stayed here 2x. Location is good near the night market. Shops are close by. Family mart, 711 and subway just across the road. Rooms are big and comfortable. Clean. However I was there recently early December and it was very cold in the room. When I asked about heating, they said there wasn't any heating and to turn the aircon off. Otherwise this would be a 5 star rating from me

We stayed at Rm. 607, corner room, two king size beds good for the four of us, with shower, bath tub and hot and cold water. It has shampoo and body wash. They always provide us with fresh towels and bottled water when they clean our room, which they do daily. The room is equipped with wifi and 49in tv. Coffee and tea is also provided. Ms Emily, Ms Susu, the receptionists, as well as guy manning the door, are always very helpful, accomodating and reliable. Great job guys! Hotel is beside Family Mart and Subway and many restaurants like pasta, pizza, noodles, etc. Hotel is 10mins walk from Jiantan Station and Shilin Night Market... Breakfast... its the same everyday so if you want to save, no need to avail thid when you book. Price - Its around US$130 a night for 4pax, with breakfast. I am strongly recommending this hotel!!! #beautyresortshotelisperfect
