The Mattress was apparently installed upside down. Ms. Arauz was less than sympathetic to my complaint, but did offer a $100.00 refund-not sufficient for a $400 room that you cannot sleep in! Also, toilet tissue holder was not secured to the wall and coffee maker needed to be carried across the room to be used. These are some challenges with the renovation, but they should not become the customer’s burden. We were very disappointed and after several correspondences with Ms. Arauz remain disappointed. This is a mediocre hotel masquerading as a 5 star.

This hotel was already excellent and it’s even better now that it has been renovated. Everything was impeccable. Room and service and food and amenities. The location is amazing; great for a walk along the waterfront and close to some of Boston’s coolest places. Excellent restaurants at walking distance. Great overall.

Nice location in walking distance of the North End, however, despite having paid for an "upgraded" room the room smelled heavily of cigarettes. Especially in the bathroom. Otherwise we had a nice stay and the staff was friendly.

Wonderful stay in picturesque north end Boston. Kyle night manager was so helpfu and made our stay memorable , front desk Tatiana was warm and helpful. The valet Muhammad and team were quick and courteous. The room was gorgeous and really big, but the best was the view, bunker hill and the USS Constitution. We had a fantastic time and the whole has ensured we will return, when in Boston.

No restaurant, no room fridge, no housekeeping, bar wasn’t open, and late check in with no explanation. Employees were unhappy and we did not feel welcome. Dirty and dingy lobby and room. We will not return and cannot recommend this hotel
