Staying in the hotel was due to my Sister's Son marriage. They have booked more than half of the hotel. Hotel ambience is good . Rooms are well decorated and cosy. The staff are friendly. Breakfast was good with varieties. But due to the hotel being vegetarian , no non-vegetarian food was served. A bit costly but the test is good.

The hotel is conveniently located on a main road, only a few kms from the main tourist areas of Kolkata. It was overall clean, modern and comfortable. It wasn't very crowded when we were there, even though it was between Christmas and New Year, generally considered peak tourist season. I booked online and got a good rate as well. We were there for 4 nights and the room we were in was reasonably spacious, with a sit out area next to a tall window. There was enough space in the room for all our luggage and an extra bed in the night. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained with a separate shower area. Being a pure vegetarian hotel, it worked well for us vegetarians and we liked the good spread for breakfast. We also had lunch/dinner at the restaurant and the options were good, though a bit pricey. The food was consistently tasty - we tried Indian, Chinese, Italian; even the curd rice was very well prepared. The service was also good, from check-in to check-out. On one of the days we were to leave very early on a day trip and they were nice enough to provide us packed breakfast at 4:30am. The room was properly cleaned and arranged every day while we were out. Even after check out we spent a couple of hours at the lobby before leaving for the airport and the staff made us comfortable. The only nit is the lack of other good dining options in the immediate neighbourhood, other than a Dominos next door.

I was so happy with this hotel 😊 First of all everything is clean, the room, bathroom as well Room is very cosy and comfortable Air conditioner is new and working good Service is nice , personal is polite and friendly Food is good, just very less continental options, just indian vegetarian, but it's okey I ordered food in Zomato, it's fine

Veg food can be so great. never had any idea that such a brilliant place existed in kolkata. The service is excellent. Also been to their rooms which has a great view. And everyone over their the staff and management are extremely helpful. also the prices are very much affordable.

Very nice view,neat and clean hotel.Staff's are very friendly,well trained and helpful. Value for money. Good atmosphere and well maintained Lobby. Mouthwatering food with lavish buffet. If you want to go with Pure Veg Barsana is the one and only choice in Kolkata.
