The location has a good view and is well planned and maintained. The dinner and breakfast was very good, just like home-cooked meals. Rooms are spacious, and the architecture is appealing with high ceilings and mud walls. Various amenities are spread across the hills, allowing you to take a nice stroll amidst nature. The staff and service were great, and the kids enjoyed the pool. The spa session was also good.

Spent 3 days and nights at the property. The property stands as true as is possible to its name as it rests pretty much at the base of the Banasura Hill and has absolutely breathtaking views of both the titular hill and those adjacent (which is the first thing you see as you roll into the property). The entire property appears as though it's an extension of the natural environment it's nestled in, which gives it a really rustic feel. One however would feel pleasantly surprised though as you step into the property, to find it to be extremely tastefully done up, and supremely well appointed with any and all creature comforts that you might need while being forest adjacent. Have to highlight in particular how amazing the meals were (particularly lunches which had traditional Kerala fare). We occupied one of their Earth Rooms which we found to be exceedingly spacious yet cozy. The property has 3 to 4 variants of accommodation that are able to accommodate small and large party sizes alike. We found ourselves scrapping our sightseeing itinerary to hole up within the property itself, given that it sprawls so beautifully and the property itself offers each day guided trails through its tea gardens or view points, or the absolutely brilliant nature trail (which we hiked up and down atleast 3 times a day). This was aided by their ample offerings by way of activities both indoor and outdoor (table tennis, badminton, pool, chess, a reading nook even). In and around around short hikes to more forested parts, cute villages and waterfalls, among others. What made the experience the experience though was the Staff at the place. Most of them are property veterans with around a decade of tenure. They were so exceedingly knowledgeable, warm and gracious in how they hosted us - a big part of the reason why our stay felt so very enjoyable I'd highly recommend the place to any kind of traveller (be it friends, family looking to relax and rejuvenate or those looking at adventuring around). One of my most memorable stays at any place in the past, near or distant and I'm eager to have the chance to reprise the visit in the near future.

One of the most wonderful vacation experiences, in a comfortable and luxurious resort in the middle of lush greenery! The resort has a beautiful location facing the Banasura hill, surrounded by forest and provides an opportunity to walk through nature trails and tea gardens, right next to the resort. Spacious and hygienic rooms, friendly and efficient staff, multiple recreational activities, quiet and tranquil atmosphere.

Wonderful trails, lush greenery, sound of crickets even during the day - we had the pleasure to experience all of these and more during our 2 days spent in Banasura when we went last weekend. There are amazing nature trails and as a family of 4 who love to walk (including my 12yr old and 4 yr old), this resort was really a lot of fun. We went on multiple walking trails - 2 of them guided outside the resort and 1 unguided inside resort. There is no a/c in the rooms. But mud rooms make the rooms better than a/c. The rooms are big. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly - be it those at the reception or the restaurant or the housekeeping or the trail guides. Buffet spread was good but not overwhelming. For those who expect hundreds of dishes in buffet, dishes that are rich, this is not for you. It is simple. Everything we ate was tasty. A piece of advice - Take some mosquito repellent. This is an eco-resort so it is a given that they have tried to preserve nature and not spoil it. It goes without saying there were mosquitoes, a lot of them. We took odomos and that made a huge difference. I am guessing the same was the reason for frequent power cuts. But neither the power cut not the mosquitoes did anything to spoil our time. P.S: As a person born and brought up in a city, I had never seen a firefly in my life. Until now when we saw one during our night walk. That was quite exciting.

We stayed in this lovely property with lovely views of the Banasura Hill. The property itself is huge which included sunrise point, a cave, a tea estate and a lovely stream where we were able spend a good time. The cuisine was also really tasty and very good and many choices to select from. The staff were very friendly and was available at tlyour service for any needs. Thanks for a memorable stay and would love to come back for other occasion.
