Certainly not high end, but clean, and comfortable. Be aware that Shimla is a city perched on many hills, entry to Apple House is a steep winding path not for the faint hearted with luggage! Set off the main road behind Loreto convent. Once there, 6 rooms have wonderful views across one of many Shimla valleys

Came here on a solo trip but never felt like it was a new place. The owner couple were really caring right from the cab pick up till i reached home. I have never felt such warmth in any other stay. The stay, the people, the location and the food prepared by Mrs Jyoti were exceptional! I was extremely satisfied with the place and I'm some day planning to bring my husband here as well ❤ Pls do stay here if you're planning on a trip to Shimla. You'll love it too!!

Excellent hotel, nicely kept clean and awesome view from rooms.. full of mountains view, Mr. Viki the owner of the property is friendly. Specially mentioned restrooms are very clean and will get nice hot water as well. They also helped us in organising the vehicle . Accessible to the hotel is 500m steep walkable from main road. Cars and vehicles cannot reach near the hotel. Need to carry the bags so long. Also, no other shops nearby. Will always recommend for all who need silent environment and coming to shimla to stay and enjoy.. safe place and WiFi is also complimentary and has a good signal. Not the least worthy of money what we spent. 4 stars only for Mr. Viki and team.

On the positive side the view is fantastic and the beds are comfortable. On the negative side the rooms are very small dirty and cramped. The stairs to the rooms are very steep. No restaurant but what pases for breakfast is served in your room.Staff are reasonably friendly without being very helpfull. We stayed in February and it was freezing although a heater was provided at an extra cost 250r per day. A problem we experianced was that the local taxi drivers had never herd of the place.

We had reserved the rooms for self and my old parents. When we reached the destination and called Mr Ajay the hotel owner, the most unprofessional and unethical person I have ever experienced, tells me that the rooms we had booked have been given to someone else. He didnt even bother calling us and letting us know that the rooms have been given to someone else. I was petrified. My old parents were with me and we had no other bookings. This was the most terrible experience ever. Avoid this property and owner at all cost.
