We were travelling for performing Annual rites for my father. The Hotel appeared to be good option online and the location was lucrative too. The main staff from Mumbai was too good and she was trying her level best to assist. However, the issues started once we checked in. The small rooms are extremely small and the one we were staying in was having stench, the lenin was spoiled/torn and rooms were poorly lit. The issue was also due to the fact that these were AC rooms and hence the windows were blocked. We stayed there in the same room for over 5 days due to some religious restrictions and for the entire tenure the AC didn't worked!!! Now imagine the stench in the room and windows being shut...life became miserable. The ventilation in bathrooms was even more bad. I doubt if there were any exhausts installed or if they were even working. In nutshell, if you are travelling and opting for this Hotel then try to avoid the smaller rooms. The situation was however a bit better with the bigger rooms (Opposite the smaller rooms). The view of the River Ganges will make you feel surreal and calm. Now, everything was not hunky dory here too. The Geyser didn't worked for the entire tenure. I had reached out to the staff upteen number of times but no respite. Finally, had to reached out to their main staff located in Mumbai and she helped me to fix the issue. The geyser worked for just once and it gave up again. It was rainy August and the weather was not that great to have showers in cold water but unfortunately we were forced to have that service (though unintentionally) (The toilet seat was broken too) The staff was courteous and tried to help but for sure there weren't many around to help if needed. The Hotel/restaurant had only one cook and he was good enough to handle the crowd but majority of the dishes were missing as per the menu provided. Reason been that they won't store much of the ingredients and rather arrange those if the customer demands! One night I ordered a cup of Coffee and I was told that there is "No Milk"!!! Mind you that I had called them at around 9 PM... Another issue was the reception staff. We kept asking for bills for the Food but eventually never got those till the last date. Not sure if this was how things are there was it was something to do with the approach being followed down there. Since we keep travelling a lot and had never faced such treatment anywhere else. Other issue was the rates of the Food. Imagine a tiny plate of Aaloo Dum was 180/- That's massive if you consider one being in North and this is not a novelty down there. Other issue was the time they will take to deliver that. Once gauging their delays, I had ordered my entire menu over the phone at 7 PM and by 08:15 I didn't get the call back confirming that the food is ready! When finally we got down to the dining hall they were still lagging behind and had forgot one dish completely! Not sure of if we were unlucky though to have had faced a lot of issues down there since the location is great and the room view (Bigger room) is good enough. They do have private ghat (which we never used) and a Hall in basement which can be used for some private poojas/rituals (Might attract some charges) To sum it the stay was 50/50. The ventilation was a big issue, the stink in the room another issue, the property being poorly lit was the third, the cleanliness could have been better, the rates of the restaurant were a bit higher than expected.... Visited Haridwar with my mother. I wanted my mother to had a great time at haridwar and thanks to Bonjour Hotels And Resorts for organizing our trip so well. My mothers sat at Private Ghat for hours and enjoyed the sound of Ganga River. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Had booked the hotel to keep the luggage only as had reached late in the evening and had a train at 10;30pm same day. At the time of check/in I had clearly mentioned that my Mother and her sister would come to stay for an hour and then we would check out . The lady at the reception agreed for the same. At 9pm when my mother & her sister aged 63 & 62 YO respectively came to rest and eventually pick up the luggage and leave the lady (owner) very rudely got personal and questioned us about our upbringing and how we couldn’t afford two rooms if there were four guests coming in. She shouted I front of everyone on us . Would request you to check the CCTV camera if you think this is a vague comment. If that was the case, then we should have been informed at check in. It’s not like I was getting guys of my friends to party ! Please be human, doesn’t cost much. Stop showing us our place for no reason.

5 star for the View 👍 Wow.. Loved our stay at Anand Niketan By Bonjour, Haridwar. Visited it with my friends. Watching Ganges River Flowing from our window was so peaceful sight. Must recommended hotel if you love River View.

Stayed here for 02 nights and my family loved the location and view of the hotel.. It is right on the ganges. View from our room was beautiful. Go for Ganga Facing Room. My family had a great time here.
