Don't ever visit. Worst hotel

Really the worst hotel I have come across. Went and gave payment for 2 days. On 2nd day at 1PM they said you have to vacate room by 1:30 as there is some online booking for which we did not get intimation. I had a 1 year old kid sleeping had to wake her up and pack and leave that also after lot of shouting by 2PM. They give priority to only foreigners not Indians which is the worst part being in India. Should boycott this hotel Also restaurant is really bad for everything you have to ask 3 to 4 times. Food gets cold till they even give plates to eat the food. They also mix up all orders. Asked for owner's contact details to give him feedback of what's going on they were not ready to give the number. Worst ever experience would suggest everyone not to go there if you want even some decent service and don't want to go on road even after booking and making payment.

The property offers different types of cottages ranging from their budget garden view hut to sea view air condition units that were introduced only very recently. The price range between the categories is pretty wide but reflects the different standards. We stayed at the budget hut for a few nights and upgraded to standard garden view during later. The main difference is that hot water is only available in the standard rooms (and above). You don't really need it in October and November. Standard also comes with a desk. Both rooms have a porch with two chairs, good, firm mattresses a fan and a mosquito net, as well as high ceilings and roofs made from palm leafs, quite nice indeed. Standard is some fifty meters closer to the beach, but also closer to the restaurant and bar which some people might find noisy (but the real noise at night is made by the gazillions of craws who keep chatting most of the night, and sometimes the otherwise friendly stray dogs). Budget huts have a nice little garden in front of the porch and seem therefore a bit more spacious. In balance: if you need the hot water, go for standard otherwise budget is a good alternative. The restaurant serves drinks and meals right at the beach, or under some shade with beach view. Mr Ram was running the show, always good humoured and helpful. Agonda beach has a wide selection of places to eat and drink, so you can explore different options as well, which can be fun. But if you are looking for a place to stay and eat most of the time, Duck'n Chill is certainly fine as well. Caveat: as vegetarians we gave the mouthwatering seafood dishes a pass, but they looked really good.

I ve been staying for years at Duck n Chill. This says it all. Spacious, spotless rooms, friendly smiling staff and service, yummy dishes. The place is famous for the sunset: nothing in front, BBQ some evenings, sun setting just in front of you. See you soon Kumar and friends!!

Duck n chill is such a warm place, the staff and the owner are extremely sweet and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Mr. Shiv is always making sure you are having a great time!! You should definitely ask him about secret places to visit in Agonda. I've stayed there for more than a week and did not want to go back! The food and the accomodation was perfect! The place is right on the beach and is very calm and quite. Its ideal for someone who's looking for some peace and relaxation. Im definitely going back again, im so glad I stayed at duck n chill for my vacation ❤️❤️ I was lucky enough to start my new year there, came home with tons of happy memories! I also think you should definitely try out their flavoured rums, coffee rum and butterscotch vodka are my favourite!!
