I would recommend staying in this hotel. During our fifth trip to India in April 2025, we enjoyed an interesting two-night stay here, the main objective of which was to visit the famous Chittorgarh Fort - which we found amazingly impressive. The hotel arranged transfers for us both prior to and following our stay - and we found their service and the driver to be excellent. Pre-dinner drinks worked well as the bar was well stocked, though wine stocks for dinner were low and the team ran out of what we were hoping for. The next day these were replenished. A wholesome buffet was served the first night, catering for a group tour of which most other guests seemed to be part of. We had our own table, by the pool. The second night we dined in the restaurant where there was a good a la carte menu. We enjoyed meeting the owner, whose family have owned the property for generations. As seasoned travellers, we are ready to brace the odd discomfort. The air conditioning unit in my room made a terribly loud, continuous noise every now and again. This couldn't be repaired so I was offered keys to the next room, which was helpful. The bathroom in my room was very basic. However the historic setting was enchanting and I enjoyed the pool and garden.

We stayed at Castle Bijaipur for a night and had a truly memorable experience. The property is spacious and beautifully maintained - we were lucky to be the only guests that day, which made it feel even more serene and exclusive. It has a distinct royal charm, with well-done, spacious rooms that are a refreshing change from modern corporate hotels. One section of the property is dedicated to rearing horses, adding to its old-world charm and uniqueness. We visited during the monsoon, and the place looked absolutely stunning - lush greenery, sprawling lawns, and trees in full bloom made the setting feel magical. The food was lovely, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous touch of being served additional items during both dinner and breakfast, even without ordering.

very good location and hospitality, very co operative staff and food is 10/10, perfect gate away from city rush, peaceful and spacious rooms, gardens for kid, neat and clean pool with haveli View, a must visit and stay if you are near to Chittorgarh

From the minute we entered Castle Bijaipur we felt transported back to the splendour of the Royalty of Rajput days. The beauty of the well maintained gardens and property, our accommodation, the food and guest hospitality was beyond anything we could have imagined. Food is not only delicious heirloom family recipes, but also mostly farm to table grown by the castle. Local folk Rajasthani music is played nightly for pre-dinner entertainment with drinks, and for relaxation there is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool (around which dinner was served) and spa. Among the many activities offered at Bijapur are jeep safari’s, bird watching, yoga and the crown jewel of the property is the Marwari horse stables on site. Best of all, rides and horse safari’s are offered by the property, it’s recommended to call in advance if you’d like to arrange a multi-day Marwari Safari experience as we did. The stables can supply riding safety gear if you have none with you - we brought our own. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would - a magical place that will always have a special place in my memories.
