It was my first stay at a Regenta Hotel - I usually stay at Marriott Group of Hotels or Bloom hotels. Here's by honest review: 1. Checkin/Checkout: Breezy. I was helped with an early check in and I'm very thankful for that. The checkout was quick & smooth too. The AC in the lobby wasn't working in the premises of Downton Raipur. It is a humid city and AC needs to function even if set at 24-25 deg C. 2. Polite and Efficient staff overall. 3. Decently appointed room. The flooring might need renovation. There was no Bathrobe in the room as mentioned while booking from your website. 4. Price: GREAT pricing on the Hotel website. Better than Agoda actually. 5. False Promise: There is a complimentary breakfast mentioned on your website. I still have the screenshot. It is unfortunate that the hotel didn't stay on the promise - they did not provide me with a complimentary breakfast. They said it's paid. It left me with a bit of a sour taste! It was slightly humiliating too. 6. Regenta Rewards membership - NO ONE in the hotel has an idea of it. No one knows of it at the front desk. I would like to know the points I earned. While the hotel can do so much more - there are many empty spaces that can be created into multiple facilities, it is overall a decent hotel which can be better. It is from the Royal Orchid Group and I expect a lot more.

I would like to say that overall Downton Hotel is a very good hotel. It is getting converted into Regenta in. The GM Mr Shankar Jha and Manager Mr Shailendra are very hospitable. The rooms give a feel of a good 3 star hotel. Rooms are spacious and has all amenities. Bed, office table, kettle, fridge, cupboard, locker etc. The room lighting should be improved. The food here is very good and tasty. Not very spicy and oily. The staff is very helpful. I stayed her with 30 plus guest for my sisters wedding for 4 days and everyone enjoyed. They have a very spacious lobby and Haldi ceremony was organised there. The mehendi and Sangeet in their hall. Best wishes to Regenta Inn Raipur

Good place to stay!! I went with family for a 2 night stay.The rooms were clean and good.i saw the trip rating and booked this hotel.This hotel as expected was good.awesome.The hospitality was good. We wanted a late check out and they agreed without charging extra money. Rooms were spacious.Staff in this hotel is very friendly.
