Full enjoyment with friends ...because of comfortable place...neat and clean...good approaches...specifically Gangadharan sir was so good...and also he stole my heart from his gentle behaviour...

Please do not book this hotel. Went with my parents first week of February based on the reviews in Google. The room is small. I was prepared to forgive this aspect because it appeared clean. There is no minimum fridge in the room. This is expected for the room rent we were paying. Be prepared to stand in the corner of the shower and not turn on the water full speed because the bathroom will flood and not drain quickly. Bedsheets are not washed and changed. Don't stay here unless you wish to have a bacterial infection. We had the misfortune of eating lunch at the restaurant one day. The Manchow soup was tamarind water with some raw vegetables thrown in. The restaurant manager said that some restaurants make Manchow soup in white color . The sambar rice was so bland, it was lentils and rice mixed together. Food made for a patient would taste better. Stay somewhere else in Kumbakonam for a peaceful temple trip or reschedule. Don't set foot in this property. My stay was an absolute nightmare.

Having travelled in Tamilnadu for almost 2 weeks in hotels with similar per night pricing, we were really surprised and pleasantly shocked by Kings Bury Inn. This is relatively new property with own gated parking space about 50-100mts further down. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, this property can be used to explore the Airavateshwar temple and other famous Kumbakonam temples. The rooms/the efficient central AC, the modern bathroom fittings, the housekeeping standards, the quality of the complimentary breakfast items, the service of front desk /restaurant staff/ watchmen/ parking attendants- all were of an unexpectedly high standard in a town like Kumbakonam for the per night pricing. Hence we might have been a little bit generous in our ratings- but we are sure that you will also be pretty impressed with what is offered for the price of a nights' stay. We did not understand what the space man was doing near the reception and forgot to find out more about this quirky decor piece .

Location is in a congested residential area with narrow lanes. View from the room was therefore not great. This is a small hotel with a restaurant and laundry service but no pool. The rooms are really big and clean. The service from staff is also good. Parking is a short distance away. Breakfast features mainly local dishes.

Best hotel in kumbakonam as of now. A new property with best of amenities. Even though located bit inside, still it’s in close proximity to all the temples. Staffs here are very courteous and rooms are neatly maintained.. a must try hotel in the holy town of kumbakonam
