Itinerary
Day 1 -Guwahati to Bhalukpong - Pickup & Transfer
- Meet our representative on arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station where you will begreeted well.
- Transfer to Bhalukpong, the border of the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Check in to the hotel after arrival and enjoy the evening at leisure.
- Overnight at Bhalukpong.
Day 2-Bhalukpong to Dirang - Transfer & Halfday Sightseeing
- After breakfast transfer to Dirang.
- On the way, visit Tipi On the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 meters having an Orchidarium with over 500 Orchids.
- On your next drive, take a break to visit Nag Temple.
- Check in to the hotel on arrival.
- Visit Apple and Kiwi farms in the afternoon (depending upon the season), Dirang Monastery, and Kalachakra Monastery.
- Overnight stay at Dirang.

The Tipi Orchid Research Centre sits on the banks of the Kameng River (also known as the Bharali) in Arunachal Pradesh and is home to over 50,000 orchid specimens, including rare and endangered species.
Nag Temple
Located in the Tenga Valley on the way to Dirang, the Nag Temple is a revered shrine dedicated to the Serpent God and is maintained by the Indian Army. It is a popular pitstop for travelers heading toward Tawang, offering a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Dirang features sprawling apple and kiwi orchards where visitors can walk through the fruit-laden trees and enjoy the cool mountain air.
Dirang Monastery
Known as the Thupsung Dhargye Ling, this majestic monastery is a center for Buddhist learning that offers stunning panoramic views of the Dirang Valley and its surrounding mountains.
Kalachakra Monastery
The Kalachakra Monastery in Dirang is a 500-year-old Buddhist shrine located in Kalachakra village, known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful mosaic architecture. It belongs to the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism and offers a peaceful spot for meditation with lovely views of the surrounding hills.
Day 3-Dirang to Tawang - Transfer Via Sela Pass
- Post breakfast, explore Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district.
- Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul.
- We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also refered as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land.
- Witness kiwi orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding.
- Later proceed to Tawang, with mountain curve the river Kameng flow along.
- Witness Sela Pass, world second highest motor able road, with bright coloured flags fluttering all around at an altitude of 13,700ft. Know about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-mandir.
- Enjoy spectacular Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height.
- After this pulsating and soul-stirring journey have a warm and comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4 Tawang - High Altitude Lake & Bumla Pass
- This morning starts with a tasty breakfast. Post that, drive to a high altitude lake called as Shonga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake.
- Then drive to Sangetsar Lake, nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surroundings.
- Enjoy some Maggie and Momos in this area while watching war bunkers around.
- Drive further to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang.
- During return, take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake enroute.
- Drive back to the hotel in the afternoon.
- Enjoy your evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Tawang.
Day 5-Tawang to Bomdila - Transfer & Halfday Sightseeing
- Wake up and have a delicious breakfast. Transfer to Bomdila.(8,200 ft.).
- On arrival check in to the hotel. Visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa) and Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa) later after relaxing.
- Evening you can visit the local market and spend some time at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Bomdila.

The Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (also known as the Upper Gompa) in Bomdila is a major center of the Mahayana school of Buddhism, famous for its colorful Tibetan architecture and stunning views of the Himalayan peaks.
Day 6 -Bomdila to Kaziranga - Transfer
- Post breakfast, board your transfer to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools.
- It has been declared as National Park in 1974.

Day 7- Kaziranga to Shillong - National Park Sightseeing and Transfer
- Early morning, head out to enjoy a jeep safari in the Kaziranga National Park.
- Kaziranga National Park is home to many species of animals & birds including the One-horned rhino.
- Return to the hotel for a lip-smacking breakfast.
- Post breakfast start the journey toward Shillong Scotland of the East.
- You will come across the Umiam Lake (Borapani) while traveling from Kaziranga to Shillong, capturing the mesmerizing beauty it has to offer we shall move forward.
- Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel at Shillong.

Day 8 -Shillong to Cherapunji - Transfer & Sightseeing
- Rise up to have your breakfast this morning & get transferred to Cherrapunjee.
- After reaching get set to explore Cherrapunjee.
- At Cherrapunjee, you will visit the Nohkalikai Falls which is the fourth highest falls in the world, Mawsmai Cave, Dainthlen Falls and Krem Falls.
- Check into Your Hotel at Cherrapunjee.
Day 9- Cherapunji - Double Decker Living Root Bridge and Rainbow Falls Trek (Guide Required)
- Today is all about adventure and nature.
- After an early breakfast, head to Tyrna Village where the trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge begins.
- The descent involves over 3,500 stone steps surrounded by lush tropical forest. Once you reach the bridge, soak in the marvel of nature’s engineering and serene surroundings.
- From here, continue further with a guide to Rainbow Falls, an untouched paradise where vibrant rainbows appear in the mist near the waterfalls.
- This trek is a bit challenging but extremely rewarding.
- Return to Cherrapunji by evening for an overnight stay.
Note: Guide is compulsory for the Rainbow Falls trek and costs approximately ₹1500 per
guide.
Day 10 - Cherapunji to Dawki - Transfer via Mawlynnong
- Travel through the pristine village of Mawlynnong, awarded as Asia’s cleanest village.
- Visit the Sky View Tower for panoramic vistas and marvel at the Single Living Root Bridge, an extraordinary natural wonder. Continue to Dawki, where the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River create a surreal boating experience.
- End the day at the India-Bangladesh border at Tamabil, soaking in the cross-border views.
Day 11- Dawki to Guwahati - Transfer Via Jowai
- Wake up to a beautiful sunrise in East Khasi hills and have your breakfast.
- Get ready and start your journey via Jowai to visit India’s most magical waterfall : Krang Suri Waterfalls.
- Upon reaching Krang Suri Waterfalls, spend some time around the falls by taking a dip in the natural pool or just enjoy some time by sitting leisurely.
- Later, move further towards Guwahati.
- On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax.
- Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 12- Guwahati to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station - Visit Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple
- After breakfast, you will leave for Guwahati Airport / Railway station, bringing the experience to an end.
- Complimentary visit to the Kamakhya Temple and Umanand Temple, if time permits.
- It is now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.
