Day 1 - Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station to Phuentsholing/Jaigoan - Pickup
- Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport[IXB]/Railway Station [NJP], get driven to Phuentsholing.
- Check-in the hotel in this offbeat little town at Indo-Bhutan border.

DAY 2: Phuentsholing/Jaigoan to Thimphu - Transfer and Local Sightseeing
- This day you travel to the capital and largest city of Bhutan, Thimphu Along the drive, find snow-capped mountains, waterfalls, streams and the unspoiled greener.
- Break in the trip and linger a while to stretch your legs.
- Admire the top view of Chukha Dam.
- Once you arrive, check in to the hotel.

Tashichhodzong, meaning “Fortress of the Glorious Religion,” is a major landmark in Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. It serves a crucial dual role as both the administrative headquarters of the government, housing the King’s throne room, and the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (the country’s chief abbot).
BBS Tower
The BBS Tower, also known as Sangaygang, is a prominent viewpoint in Thimphu, situated at an elevation of 2,685 meters. It offers stunning, panoramic views of the entire Thimphu Valley. While the tower itself is the property of the Bhutan Broadcasting Service and access is restricted, the surrounding area is a popular recreational spot for both locals and tourists, perfect for walking, and enjoying the sunset.
Changlimithang Monasteries
Changlimithang” refers primarily to the historic heart of Thimphu, most famous for its National Stadium and Archery Ground. While the stadium itself isn’t a monastery, the area is surrounded by some of Bhutan’s most significant religious sites, as the stadium sits on a former 19th-century battlefield that helped unify the kingdom.
DAY 3: Thimphu - Punakha Excursion

Dochula Pass is arguably the most beautiful mountain pass in Bhutan. Located at an elevation of 3,100 meters (10,170 feet), it sits on the road between the current capital, Thimphu, and the old capital, Punakha.
Chimi Lhakhang
Known as the “Fertility Temple,” this 15th-century site honors the “Divine Madman,” a saint who used eccentric methods and phallic symbols to subdue demons and bestow blessings. Visitors today hike through scenic rice paddies to reach the temple, where couples often seek traditional fertility rituals and auspicious names for their children. administrative and monastic center for the district. DAY 4: Thimphu to Paro - Transfer Via Simtokha Dzong
- After a piping hot breakfast, Paro en route visit Simtokha Dzong.
- This Dzong, built in 1627 is the oldest in bhutan. It now houses the institute for language and culture studies.
- Afternoon in Paro, visit Ta Dzong, once a watchtower, built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th century, Ta Dzong was inaugurated as bhutan’s national museum in 1968.
- Afterwards, walk down a hillside trail to visit Rinpung Dzong. Built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal , the first spiritual and temporal ruler of bhutan, the Dzong houses the monastic body of Paro, the office of the Dzongda (district administrative head) and Thrimpon (judge) of Paro district.
