Arrive in Jaipur and settle into your accommodation. Kick off the trip with a visit to the magnificent hilltop Amer Fort, followed by a photo stop at Jal Mahal rising serenely from Man Sagar Lake. Wind up the evening at Hawa Mahal and browse the lively bazaars for local textiles, juttis, and handicrafts.

Wake up early and post breakfast, visit the iconic Patrika Gate, known for its vibrant arches and stunning hand-painted interiors. Begin your drive to Udaipur visit the Kishangarh Dumping Yard, a unique photography hotspot with striking marble waste formations. Make a stop at the Statue of Belief, the world’s tallest Shiva statue. After arriving in Udaipur, check-in to our hotel and have some leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Udaipur.

Spend the day uncovering Udaipur’s layered heritage. Tour the grand City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola, then walk through the elaborately carved Jagdish Temple. In the evening, watch traditional Rajasthani folk performances at Bagore Ki Haveli or relax at a lakeside café near Gangaur Ghat.

Check out after breakfast and head to the Blue City. En route, stop at Kumbhalgarh Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose boundary wall is among the longest in the world — and at Haldighati to learn about the historic battle of Maharana Pratap at the local museum. Arrive and check in at Jodhpur.

Explore Jodhpur’s iconic landmarks: the opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace, the towering Mehrangarh Fort perched on a sheer cliff, and the delicate marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada. Round off the day with street food and local shopping around Ghanta Ghar clock tower.

After breakfast, drive to the Golden City. Check in to a desert camp at Sam Sand Dunes. As the sun dips, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes and thrilling jeep dune bashing. Spend the evening around a bonfire with Rajasthani folk music, Kalbelia dance, and complimentary snacks before a home-style dinner under the stars.

After breakfast, check out from the camp and visit Kuldhara, a hauntingly abandoned 800-year-old village. Then explore Jaisalmer Fort — the only fully inhabited living fort in India — along with Gadisar Lake and the ornate havelis of Patwon Ki Haveli. Browse local desert-craft markets and sample food at quirky themed cafés before beginning the overnight drive back to Jaipur.
