Located in Varanasi on the western bank of the holy river Ganges, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most revered Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and houses one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas.
Having survived multiple destructions throughout history, the current structure was rebuilt by Maratha queen Ahilyabai Holkar in 1780 and stands as a timeless symbol of spiritual liberation (moksha) and resilience.
Ganga Aarti
The Ganga Aarti is a magnificent, highly choreographed Hindu ritual of light held daily at Varanasi’s Dashashwamedh Ghat, where priests offer immense brass lamps to worship the holy river Ganges.Accompanied by rhythmic chants, blowing conch shells, and incense, this spiritual spectacle draws thousands of devotees and tourists every evening to experience its mesmerizing, divine atmosphere.

Tulsi Manas Temple
Built in 1964 out of pristine white marble, the Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi is dedicated to Lord Rama and marks the exact historical site where the saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas composed the epic poem Ramcharitmanas.
The temple is uniquely famous for its walls, which are intricately engraved with the entire text of the epic alongside beautiful moving dioramas depicting scenes from the life of Rama.
New Vishwanath Temple
Located within the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus, the New Vishwanath Temple (VT) features the tallest temple tower (shikhara) in the world and is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Envisioned by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and built by the Birla family, this magnificent marble temple welcomes people of all castes and religions to admire its vast, serene interiors engraved with holy Hindu scriptures.
Dhamek Stupa
Located in Sarnath near Varanasi, the massive Dhamek Stupa is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world, marking the exact spot where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his first five disciples.
Originally built by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BCE and later rebuilt in the 6th century, the imposing cylindrical brick tower features intricate Gupta-era stone carvings and stands as a timeless symbol of the birth of Buddhism.
