Tulsi Manas Temple
Built in 1964 out of pristine white marble, the Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi is dedicated to Lord Rama and marks the exact historical site where the saint-poet Goswami Tulsidas composed the epic poem Ramcharitmanas.
The temple is uniquely famous for its walls, which are intricately engraved with the entire text of the epic alongside beautiful moving dioramas depicting scenes from the life of Rama.
Kal Bhairav Temple
Kal Bhairav Temple is an ancient, revered shrine in Varanasi dedicated to the fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, known as the “Kotwal” or divine police chief of the city. Dhamek Stupa
Located in Sarnath near Varanasi, the massive Dhamek Stupa is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world, marking the exact spot where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his first five disciples.
Originally built by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BCE and later rebuilt in the 6th century, the imposing cylindrical brick tower features intricate Gupta-era stone carvings and stands as a timeless symbol of the birth of Buddhism.
