Day 2 Almaty Full-Day City Exploration with Kok Tobe
Wake up to the peaceful morning and post breakfast, hop on to your vehicle for
an exciting Almaty city tour.

Later, get on board your vehicle to explore Almaty.
Begin the city tour with a visit to the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, followed by the iconic Zenkov
Cathedral.
Continue to the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, and stroll along Arbat, the lively pedestrian
street.
In the evening, proceed to Kok Tobe, a popular recreational park offering panoramic views of the
city.

The Green Bazaar (locally known as Zelyony Bazaar) is the beating heart of Almaty, Kazakhstan. It’s not just a market; it’s a sensory explosion where the Silk Road meets Soviet-era architecture.
Kok Tobe
Continuing our tour of Almaty, Kok Tobe (Kazakh for “Green Hill”) is the highest point in the city and its most popular recreational landmark. At 1,130 meters above sea level, it offers the absolute best 360-degree views of Almaty and the snow-capped Trans-Ili Alatau mountains.
Day 3 -Shymbulak Ski Resort by Cable Car
After breakfast, proceed towards Shymbulak Ski Resort, nestled in the scenic Trans-Ili Alatau
Mountains.
Board the cable car and enjoy a ride up to Phase 3 (Top Level), taking in breathtaking alpine views
along the way.
Spend time exploring the resort and enjoying the fresh mountain air, surrounded by stunning snow-
capped landscapes and natural beauty.
In the evening, return to Almaty.
You may explore the city’s cafés and pubs on your own.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Almaty.
Day 4 -Explore Kolsay & Kaindy Lakes | Drive to Almaty
Wake up to a beautiful mountain morning and enjoy breakfast at your homestay.
Get on board a 4×4 vehicle and proceed to Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest and surreal
atmosphere.
Spend time hiking through the scenic surroundings and capturing reflections of the surrounding
peaks on the lake’s crystal-clear waters.
Later, drive back to the homestay and enjoy lunch.
Post lunch, proceed to Kolsay Lakes, a beautiful chain of alpine lakes known for their pristine waters
and breathtaking landscapes.
After exploring the area, begin your return journey to Almaty.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and stay overnight in Almaty.

The Kolsay Lakes (also spelled Kolsai) are known as the “Pearls of the Tien Shan.” This system of three alpine lakes is located at the northern foot of the Tian Shan Mountains, about 300 km from Almaty.
