Swiss International Airlines, also known as SWISS, is one of the most prominent airlines of Switzerland and operates its flights out of Zurich as its hub and the Swiss international airports of Basel and Geneva.
On-Board Swissair
- Swissair was formed as a merger between Balair and Ad Astra Aero in the year 1931
- In 2002, the airlines’ operations were transferred to Crossair and Swiss International Airlines was formed
- In March 2005, it was taken over by Germany’s Lufthansa Group
- Since 1st April 2006, SWISS became a member of the Star Alliance

SWISS Business class passengers may check-in 2 bags, each weighing not more than 32 kgs, and maximum total weight not exceeding 64 kgs.
