RAK Airways Airlines

The national airline of Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven states in the United Arab Emirates, RAK Airways was founded in 2006 and launched operations in the year 2007. It is a private joint stock company incorporated in the RAK Investment Authority Free Zone.Today, the airline is known as one of the most comfortable, stylish and affordable airlines in the region.

Due to economic crisis, the aviation company had suspended operations for nearly two years but in 2010, the airline recommenced its operations.

Connectivity and Fleet Information

The aviation company’s flights cover the following destinations in the world - Ras Al Khaimah, Cairo, Chittagong, Calicut, Kozhikode, Dhaka, Doha, Jeddah, Lahore, Peshawar & Kathmandu.

With an aim to offer maximum comfort and safety for all its passengers, RAK Airways has invested in a world class fleet that consists of the Boeing 757-200 and the Airbus A320-200s.

One may choose to make bookings with RAK Airlines from various parts of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Services and Baggage Allowance

In addition to exciting services such as priority boarding, priority check-in and priority baggage delivery for its RAK Premier members, all passengers of the airline are able to enjoy their free bus shuttle services to the airport between Ras Al Khaimah and the neighboring emirates. Depending on the length of your flight, the airline offers some delicious snacks and drinks to all its passengers. At select airports RAK Traveller and RAK Premier members may avail free long-term airport parking for their vehicles while they enjoy their holiday!

You may also avail of other services in case you require shipping out some cargo, need assistance with your travel insurance or any help renting a car at your destination of travel.

In addition to this, all RAK Air travelers are permitted to check-in 30 kgs. As a RAK Premier member you are permitted to check-in an additional 10 kgs of luggage. You may also carry hand luggage weighing up to 7 kgs on board.

The airline ceased its operations in 2014.
