business-type room, quite modern in style. The room is carpeted, has a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, a mini-bar, a desk with Internet access, a little box with basic office supplies (stapler, paper clips, etc.), a bath tub and a shower. The bed is so comfortable that I slept soundly on my first night. The best feature of this hotel is its proximity to Walmart which is just next door. It makes it easy to purchase fruits, juice, etc. There are also good restaurants within walking distance. Buffet breakfast choices are also a wide array of Chinese and Western dishes -- cereals, nuts, steamed buns, fried noodles and noodles with soup, sausages, fruits, etc. But, while Internet connection comes free with the room, the connection is crawling. Sometimes it is difficult to log in to Gmail. Another downside is the unpleasant smell in the bathroom which comes from poor plumbing architecture. Otherwise, this is a fine hotel with reasonable rates.

Business-Zimmer. Englischsprachige, sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Besprechungsräume für Business-Meetings und Business-Geschäftsessen jederzeit verfügbar. Sehr modernes und internationales Frühstücksrestaurant mit riesiger und ansprechender Auswahl.
Leider ab ca. 22:00 Uhr kein Restaurantbetrieb - wer nicht unbedingt in einen chinesischen Imbiss gehen möchte muss hungrig zu Bett gehen - deshalb die Service-Bewertung auch nur mit "Befriedigend".
Grosses Minus: Die Internetverbindung funktionierte leider nur selten und/oder schlecht. Für Geschäftsreisende nicht akzeptabel.
Lage:
Obwohl nur ca. 5km Luftlinie NNO zum Westsee (Innenstadt) gelegen, benötigt man aufgrund der absolut katastrophalen Verkehrsbedingungen in Hangzhou ca. 1 Stunde oder mehr vom Hotel zur Innenstadt. Das Hotel ist aufgrund der Lage eigentlich nur für Geschäftsleute geeignet, die die Messe besuchen - sonst gibt es keinen Grund sich dort aufzuhalten. Der Xiacheng District ist wahrlich nicht sonderlich ansprechend (siehe Bild Zimmeraussicht).
