Great property with awesome view. Nice food. But doesn't have much to do if you thinking of going with family and kids. It's hot and u need money to be spend each time u want to use cable car. It's only free for check in and check out.

Nice place to visit. Beautiful location . Stayed there for1 day .Room was good, maintained. Have a well maintained swimming pool but only open between 8-10 in morning and between
5 to 7 pm. Food was good and served in good ambience, but quite expensive. There was live music program with good song selection. We enjoyed very much while staying there.
From here u can catch cable car to visit timber trail heights,Moksha, and timber trail terrace. But they charged separately to visit there.if u are staying at these resorts than its free for once.

The experience was great. Green surrounding.. cool breeze..comfortable rooms.. and yummy food.. together made up a nice holiday. The staff at d restaurant is very courteous. I would surely recommend this.

The best part of the resort is experienced if bookings are made for the Timber Trail Heights, from where extensive views of the plains of Haryana and Chandigarh are visible.
The 8 minute trolley transfer to the Heights is an exhilarating experience in itself. Options like rides and games are plenty to keep the accompanying kids (if any).

We stayed at the Timber Trail Resort for a night while we were heading to Manali. The property is large and well maintained with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The terrace restaurant is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The major usp of the resort would be the cable car ride to the top of a hill where a sister concern called Timber Heights is located. However at around 800 rupees a head it's not exactly cheap.I felt the rooms while good were not good value for the price paid. There was no free wi-fi .To our dismay, there was a party happening at the restaurant the night we stayed and the loud music kept us up for quite a while.Overall i'd recommend a stay in Timber Trails only for the amazing location and the unique cable car ride.
