THON HALLINGDAL, Al

First Class Traditional Hotel. This hotel is located in the heart of Al at the base of the surrounding ski slopes offering a convenient overnight location for groups passing over the Hardangervidda.

The rooms are of medium size and in good condition. They have the same style of decor as in the public areas. The hotel's main source of business is skiers and for this reason all rooms are of very good size to accommodate those with children. The bathrooms are also in good condition.

The restaurant was completely renovated in 1995 and is now a charming cosy place with wood furnishings and paintings indicative of the region, it serves a mixture of local delicacies and international cuisine.

The hotel is modern but is built in a traditional style to reflect the architecture and atmosphere of a chalet style hotel.

The lobby area is of a small size but adjoins a comfortable bar and seating area. All public areas are well maintained and are decorated in pine wood and pastel colours.
