This is a rather rustic resort and is not for people who demand 5* furnishings and decor. We loved our stay here and were made most welcome by the staff from the outset. The resort is set in beautiful but slightly unkempt gardens which are full of birds and wildlife. The food was delicious and plentiful and good vaue for money. The pool was clean and the pool boy was polite and helpful. He later took us bird watching and also provided evening entertainment with a group of musicians. The rooms were very spacious with kitchen facilities and large balconies but the decor both internally and externally looked rather tired. The dining room which was part of the main building was airy and spacious. The boys who took us on Safari into the national park were knowledgable and enthusiastic. The resorts attraction is the wildlife but there is the opportunity to visit a Tibetan community nearby. The Manager and staff worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable.

Stayed here from the UK in March 2013 for two nights with my sister and father. As other reviewers say, the hospitality and consideration is excellent here. Only one problem, on the second night while we were there, the room next door was let to one of the groups of young men - i guess on a team building stay - and they kept us awake until 3 in the morning with extremely loud shouting, banging, laughing etc. I contacted hotel security but they were unable to improve the noise level. I also knocked on their door to ask them to keep the noise down but there was no change.
The rooms are very spacious, if not squeaky clean, and the setting is lovely. Staff were flexible with food, for example, cooking non-spicy dishes for my elderly father. We went on a good bird-watching tour in the early morning and the pool was clean, surrounded by lovely shrubs and trees. Evening entertainment was fun.
