Got a nice tree canopy view from the balcony. The hotel staff were friendly enough. Ran into 1 or 2 minor issues and was resolved immediately by the staff.

The food as part of buffet breakfast as well as room service ( we had dinner ) was excellent. Though service was slower, the taste easily made up for the delay. On request, due to late checkout, the hotel provided a room for few minutes before our departure to freshen up.

asked them to show me the room we would be checking into. It didn't have a balcony and the window faced a rockface. On requesting a room with a balcony, we were pointed to their 'superior' rooms. I asked to them upgrade at a reasonable price and half expected a pricey upgrade. It was reasonable, however at 1k for 2 days. Other than that, the staff was very reasonable and helpful, the rooms were clean, bedsheets neat, cable network quality was decent and the rooms service was polite and helpful. The view from the balcony wasn't that great, but quite decent. I hear the cottages might have a better view. I had my own transport and it appeared that the hotel was at a good location as we didn't have to go too far to view the main sights. The lake is about 1/2 hour out and so are a few other places like cokker's walk, chettiyar park, rock pillars etc.Especially loved the hospitality there as the people at the reception were humble and eager to help. The restaurant was small and clean and the food quality (we only had the breakfast buffet) was excellent.Overall, quite pleasant and peaceful.

we got yellow water suddenly, we waited for few hrs to get good water.Unless untill they fix this watter issue, i dont thnk of staying there again.

Firstly donot get carried away with the name. It is a Hotel not a resort. There are no ammunities in this hotel. But provides good service & good food.

& toilets get mud water in the room. Just be sure, you are fine with mud water. I won't recommend people who have kids, the mud water is not good for them.
There is no much of common area to take a walk or enjoy the nature. I won't recommend this to people who wanted to stay at hotel (without sight seeing) and enjoy their time.
