I have visited on 2nd to 6th feb 2015. I like the hotel. Service was not so good but the food taste was awesome. Overall its a good place to visit with average budget cost and I had a good time spent.

I visited the place around Christmas.I was impressed by the hospitality of it.The service given from the staff to cashier is superior. They had a good organization of a Gala dinner
on Christmas night. Also enjoyed the 2 day sight seeing given by the Hotel in a Tempo Traveler. The Meal plan as buffet was simply amazing.
Overall its a good place to visit with average budget cost and I had a good time spent.

It may have a glorious past, but at present this hotel is thriving on corporate parties, school/college trips and other group events. We booked it for 2500rs per day,
the rooms are quite big with basic amenities. It was like a suite with a living room and bedroom. Location is diagonally opposite Dona Sylvia on cavelossim and 2 kms from Leela. You just need to take a 200 metres walk crossing Luisa By The Sea market. The hotel is sandwiched between river and an ocean. The beach is right across the street. They have play area with pool, carom and table tennis, very basic veg restaurant, pool side bar and a pool not maintained. The hotel looks deep in crisis, even the ongoing maintenance work is of very inferior quality.
The aging of hotel and maintenance eclipses the size and location advantages.
With all said, you hardly get any options in south for this price. For price sensitive, I recommend Verca Le Palms over this for some extra otherwise Dona Sylvia for 4800rs/day in feb 2015 was a dreamer :).

Very disappointed by this hotel. Website said there was a functioning gym, False, did not function, Also there was supposed to be a lazy river. There was, but it was
filled with green mouldy water and not functioning. Breakfast was limited and aimed at the indian clientele. We used it once.
The room was a good size but after a week we had cockroaches visit us and also some ants. The staff were excellent at sorting out problems but it got to the stage where we complained more or less every day about something.
It's a shame because if the hotel
was given an upgrade it would be fine as the location is excellent.
We stayed here from January 4th to the 18th, 2015. Beware of room no. 328. We will not be staying here again.

its quite amazing that room service manager says pls go to restaurant for your tea as it will take us half an hour to serve u, and tea is free
in the restaurant as u have complimentary breakfast.
housekeeping gave teared bath towels, and even after complaining they said this is the best quality we have
