I took my fiancé away for a get away and Telford had been recommended to me and I'm glad it was. Everything from arrival to departure was amazing, the staff were extremely helpful and I'd love to go again at the earliest opportunity.

We have stayed in many golf resorts throughout the U.K. all 4* & above & have to say that this rates very highly. The superior rooms were very comfortable, very well equipped (apart from no fridge) but you do have trouser press, ironing board & iron. The decor was very pleasant & in good condition. The staff were ALL so pleasant & efficient right throughout the hotel. Dinner in the evening was very good with nicely presented food & plenty of choice. Breakfast was also excellent despite being a buffet, the food was well cooked, hot & had a special every day if you wished to order it. The swimming pool & amentities were first class & a good place to relax after a game of golf. The golf course is nicely tree-lined without causing too much trouble. Ideal for all standards of golfers if you just wish a nice, relaxed game of golf. The golf shop staff were very accommodating & the course seemed to run very smoothly.Altogether a lovely couple of days break as there is lots of other things to do and see around the area. We will certainly go back.

A good hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms spacious and well equipped. Only complaint is I tried to contact the hotel after our return and it was impossible to speak to a member of staff as no-one seemed to want to answer the phone. In an attempt to contact them I went through to central bookings and they patched me through eventually - they must have a direct line not advertised to the public! My query was their pre-authorisation policy on credit/debit cards. It causes problems if you present one card on arrival and use another on departure especially if you present a debit card on arrival and use a credit card on departure - reception staff please warn clients in future. Other than their communication problems a great venue for a relaxing weekend.

I had to travel to Telford to work and my company booked me a room here. It was extremely comfortable and well designed. Whilst the location of the hotel is too remote for me to choose for a leisure break, the view over the wooded hills (with power station in the distance!) from the restaurant is lovely.
This is an excellent hotel, my only problem was the service in the restaurant, where no-one appears to have any responsibility for your table, and I had to wait an hour for my meal to arrive, because of "double booking at the till??". I had to grab two passing waitresses during the hour before this lack of food was even addressed.
I would still stay here again if in Telford on business.

We went here as a group of 24 for 3 days of golf and two nights half-board. The venue looks impressive and we were well received and checked in early before our golf matches. The course was really wet for the middle of May but we found it a real challenge for both length and speed of the greens. We had dinner after the golf and the food was not good at all. Both quality and quantity were lacking - but we were not deterred as the restaurant staff were very friendly so we just got on with things. However we went through the same thing the next day - long day on the course - back hungry and looking forward to a nice meal but yet again it was very poor. We were about the first in for dinner and the place was not busy so how they could make such a poor effort I just don't understand.
The rooms at the hotel are modern and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and all the staff were helpful and friendly but would not give them any marks for the food.
