The stay was comfortable and the hotel location is also good. The sun rise can be seen from the top floor of the hotel. The restaurant is not that good. The food was not up to the mark looking to the hotel. Rooms were not that great but value for money if booked around INR 2400/- . Staff was decent only thing is food which needs to be improved.

It was average for us.... Rooms were very good... only the day we wanted to use the swimming pool, it was under maintainance. Also the breakfast which was written in the menu was not available... But overall ok.... The location of the hotel was very good... Railway station was walking distance.....

The reception is normal. Wifi is available only in the lobby, pretty good speed. Room service was great on Sunday and worst on Monday!looked akin to there were two teams trying to achieve the extreme opposite ends of a barometer for customer satisfaction (un-satisfaction for Monday). Location is close to the beach, but does not have a sea view. There are many other hotels at cheaper rates with very good views (maybe also reviews). All hotels in Kanyakumari are within walking distance to each other.

We stayed for one night in February 2014. We booked this hotel because we saw some good pictures and read good reviews.
Unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectation. The hotel is neglected and although there are some renovation are on going there, the general condition of the hotel is very poor.
The WiFi is supposed to work in the public area, but it didn't work for us.
The food was very simple but the way it was served was a put off.
The one good thing was to be woken up in the morning by chanting, and see the sunrise from our balcony.

Our room was big, with good AC(noisy), fan, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was ok for India, but should have been a lot cleaner. We chose this hotel even
though it was not on the headland or on the beach, because of the pool. When we went to use it,unfortunately it was just for show as it was too dirty to use. We saw so many staff just loitering around, surely some of them could use their paid hours by actually spending some time cleaning the pool. On the roof top where guests are supposed to go to view the sunrise, there were lots of paper cups left behind by people obviously having a morning cuppa, while watching the sunrise. But, just thrown on the ground, as Indians have a tendency to do with a lot of their litter. Again the staff should be cleaning them up, or providing a rubbish bin for people to use.
Didn't use the restaurant in the basement, as it looked too dark and dingy.

It takes 1km to sea. It is better to stay hotel which is more close to temple and sea. Room is average for the price but A/C doesn't work well.
Only warm wind comes. Scene from room is good.
When check-in, most of other hotels bring baggage to my room by staff but this hotel doesn't. This service is not international level as hotel name said. Staffs may not have a passion to serve. Another staff comes suddenly after I opened a door. I don't understand but staff may not be enough or some staff may not have passion.
In restaurant, there are many flies aroud the table when breakfast. So, I need to drive off flies many times...
I can see sunset/sunrise from rooftop but it is a bit far from sea. There are many other hotels which is closer to sea and temple. It is better to walk to temple rather than see sunset/sunrise from rooftop.
When check-out, I was checking-out but suddenly other Indian talked with staff and the staff checked-out other customer first. He may come first but he passed the Key to staff at that time and push staff to check-out and give money just in front of me. So probably I am the first. Then he push staff to check-out first, they didn't use English, so I don't understand situation welll but staff never say "sorry, please wait" to me for waiting me so long. Staff just wait me more times by other person's check-out. The staff probably doesn't care for customer.
Indian sometimes skip queue if possible. Then, Indian sometimes accept that. If international level, staff must behave as International standard. Customer was probably typical Indian and they tried to skip queue. Staff is probably a Indian level, not a international level.
Actually I don't want to talk with rude typical Indian who is stranger. It is useless to say something to whom behave badly. They never come across to me again.
Why first customer needs to wait for other customer who come later? I don't understand. It is not a international level. I need to wait more by checking-out of other customer. It is bad.
The price is a bit expensive as for the service (I paid 1,900Rs + tax).
Truely this hotel is not a International level. I probably don't stay this hotel again.

We stayed here for a night in March 2014. But the place is mismanaged and unmaintained. The location of the hotel is good. we had a room on 4th floor
facing the beach. view from the balcony was fantastic. Room was spacious. But the place had feel of being a rundown place. Sunrise from the terrace was good but the place was unclean.
When we arrived they served frootie as a welcome drink. It was stale and probably expired. We could not drink it. The food in the restaurant was just not tasty. We tried north Indian on being told that they had a chef from North.
The bed though it looked quite clean but gave me itch when I went in to the bed at night. Over all not a very good experience.
