The stay was comfortable and the hotel location is also good. The sun rise can be seen from the top floor of the hotel. The restaurant is not that good. The food was not up to the mark looking to the hotel. Rooms were not that great but value for money if booked around INR 2400/- . Staff was decent only thing is food which needs to be improved.

I Visited for attending conference from 11/1/13 to 13/1/13 for 3 days at Kanyakumari. I stayed in this hotel. Room service is good, rooms are clean, restaurant is very nice. Overall experience is good, as of now is good.

Excellent value for money. Stayed on MAP basis. Both room and food is good. Reception is being renovated and looks superb. Huge area of the property, ample space for children to play. Has a bar, though not visited. Restaurant get up is nice.

I was there for one night on 26th March 2015. I found the hotel very good with all amenities required with swimming pool. Play ground is there for kids with rides. Staff was helpful and understand all our needs. bar was not good it was located back side of the hotel. Restaurant was average. Reception was Awsum.

It was average for us.... Rooms were very good... only the day we wanted to use the swimming pool, it was under maintainance. Also the breakfast which was written in the menu was not available... But overall ok.... The location of the hotel was very good... Railway station was walking distance.....

The reception is normal. Wifi is available only in the lobby, pretty good speed. Room service was great on Sunday and worst on Monday!looked akin to there were two teams trying to achieve the extreme opposite ends of a barometer for customer satisfaction (un-satisfaction for Monday). Location is close to the beach, but does not have a sea view. There are many other hotels at cheaper rates with very good views (maybe also reviews). All hotels in Kanyakumari are within walking distance to each other.

As per preplanning we (my wife and youngest son Akash) reached this hotel Singaar International from Rameswaram on 7th Feb 2015 afternoon around 3-30 pm. Room was booked already before
starting from Mumbai. One Mr. Wilson in the reception was not courteous at all. From Mumbai only from the time of booking the room his behaviour was not good at all. It seems he is very lazy, cannot pick up phone / mobile at all. He showed he is the busiest man in this office. Anyway after arrival their approach was good. The room was given to us was nice, the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and sea were visible very nicely. But the room services were not at all good. The bath room door handle was not there at all. Nobody knows that also. That means no proper maintenance. Food was good. Non veg available. Sea side is 500 mtrs or less. In fine hotel look was good and room very costly whereas the services are not upto the mark. They are proud because the sea side is nearer to their hotel. Anyway we stayed one night there. Next day morning 10 O'clock we checked out the hotel after visiting Vivekananda Rock Memorial.
That is all. The frontier view of the hotel is very good.

My wife and I were booked into this hotel by our tour company, I have since spoken to them and warned them that other clients may not be so tolerant. I in no way blame my chosen tour company, they after alll in such a large country guided by reviews and the websites operated by the Hotels. We arrived for a one night stay 28th February 2015. The welcome and lobby area was grand and friendly. Unfortunately as we had trips arranged for the day, not much of an inspection was made of the actual room or facilities. Aside from ongoing construction work externally, not much was amiss. On our return from visits, in our room which was clean and tidy, we decided to shower, there was no cold water at all from any designated taps, hot was the only option, ok you will say, change rooms, I don't think this would have been an option as there was an Indian insurance men's convention taking place. Anyway, I am a builder and soon established that the hot water feed was connected to all services in this room, it also fed the toilet cistern, but the shower tap had to be used to fill it. We resorted to the bucket and pour method of washing. So washed and dressed we visited the restaurant, avoiding the one elevator serving 6 floors, this only had space for three people and was slower than mountaineering. Briefly the restaurant was filthy, walls had swipe marks everywhere, glass topped tables were more like scientific exhibit cabinets, service was haphazard, my wife was served her meal such as it was and had finished eating before mine was served and my patience gave and I cancelled my order. In all I can state our visit and stay was awful and we were pleased to leave as soon as possible next morning. Wifi was supposedly available in the lobby area, unfortunately we were unable to get it anywhere. There was more, like no tea or coffee facilities in the room, but I imagine you are well warned, so I'll leave it here. Read more of our experiences in India 2015, as I write and time allows.
