Family. Book early as this is a popular hotel. i try to stay here every time i visit. i will be staying here again this month for two weeks. i was lucky enough to get in. The hotel is near wonderful eating places and Costco is just around the corner for buying things to bring back to South Africa. Rooms are large, clean and quite and the area is upmarket.

experience and we can't say enough good things about this property.
As Platinum Premier members of Marriott's Rewards Program, we have very high expectations wherever we stay. Thanks to the highly professional and accommodating staff, led by Nancy Howard, the Westlake Village Residence Inn exceeded our expectations. We really felt like this hotel appreciated our business and it really became our "home away from home" during a very stressful time in our lives. Every staff member, from Julio in Housekeeping to the wonderful front desk staff (Ben, Christian, Scott) seemed to truly enjoy their job and guest satisfaction came across as their top priority. Ken Gottlieb, the front desk manager was very helpful in setting up the logistics of our stay. And finally, from the minute we checked in - Gillian Cone was especially warm and gracious and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with all aspects of our stay.
The property is meticulously maintained and is conveniently located near the freeway, restaurants and shopping. The gym and pool area are small but adequate. Parking (like the daily breakfast and weekday happy hour) is free and very easy. The rooms are somewhat dated in furnishings but extremely clean, comfortable and come with nice little furnished kitchens. During the 7 weeks of our stay - we saw all different types of guests - from business travelers to kids on sports teams to families with young children. The one thing everyone seemed to have in common was that they were all cheerful - making us feel as if they were as happy with their choice of hotel as we were.
The Westlake Village Residence Inn was truly our little oasis during our recent home remodel. We are looking forward to staying there again when we do Phase 2 of our house rennovation.

like the Residence Inn with the three kids because of the 2 bed/2 bath layout. The room was very clean. We requested a top floor and they were able to accommodate. The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast buffet was very good. They did sometimes have trouble keeping everything stocked like fresh fruit and waffle batter. There was one buffet attendant in particular who was the most friendly and cheerful person I think I have ever met. I forget her name, but you will know it is her if you stay here. The pool area was nice and the hot tub nice and hot. I would definitely stay here again.

in the sprawling metropolis, but I would definitely choose this place over something more central. Definitely a better bargain and more relaxing than closer alternatives. Nice room, good service, plenty of free parking. Not too much of interest in the immediate neighborhood, but that is what cars are for.

rooms are large, we did some washing in the guest laundry, kicked back in the room and spent a bit of time sitting around the pool. Albertsons is not far away so we bought some stuff to cook for dinner in room's well equipped kitchen. The free breakfast is a level above the standard and well maintained by staff. I will stay here again, it was a positive experience all round.
