Location was excellent - bang in the middle of the city; very close to Levy Mall and next door to Cairo ROad mall. Airport is not too far away. Check-in and check-out was very smooth. they even have a pick-up / drop-off from the airport although i did not use it.
The good things - bed was good; restaurant menu though limited was good in taste and portion size; breakfast spread was basic but wholesome and hearty; staff were helpful; room size was ok; free wifi;
The cons - internet speed was woeful; having to reconnect every now and then was also quite frustrating; bathrooms could have been a bit bigger; amenities are not restocked every day - so you have to make do with the basic soap; the corridors are a bit tired - the lighting can certainly improve; the lifts are scary;

Location not great, (avoid venturing to the west of the hotel unless you want to personally re-enact a scene from Black-Hawk-Down in Mogadishu)
Hotel situated in a re-firbed 1960's office block.
Parking disjointed from Hotel
Otherwise service, food was good.
Felt secure inside hotel.
V Limited business work area.
Mozi beers were cold.
View from room to the south = crumbling correlated iron roofing + scrappy old buildings.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and I can't say it was a pleasant experience. The front desk receptionists are unfriendly and and not eager to help. I asked for an adapter plug for my laptop charger and the receptionist just pointed me towards one of the janitors. He then informed me that the hotel doesn't keep adapters but he could buy me one for 45 Kwachas (equivalent to 9 USD). That is riculously expensive for something that shouldn't cost more than 2USD. What is more he brought me an old and obviously used adapter. I am sure he was cheating but I had no option since I needed the charger to use the laptop for some urgent things. Later I asked for room service and I was told that they have no room service although they have a restaurant.
The internet connection worked rather well though it drops if you don't use it for a few minutes and you have to put the login information every time. That can be inconvenient if you forget to carry the small slip they give you.
The room is clean so no complaints in that regard but at USD 130 per night I don't think it's worth it. I can also not say that the location is a convenience as I was specifically warned by the locals that I should not venture on foot after dark since it is not safe. So all in all unfriendly staff, poor location, old building and no room service mean there is little incentive to stay at this place.
