booking.com they say it's a 5 star hotel. But for us it's more a 3 star hotel. Indeed we had a spacious room with a huge bathroom but this bathroom looked old and needs maintenance. We liked the pool area very much. Most of the staff only speak spanish and no english. So we had some confusion when we ordered roomservice. It's a short distance to the city center. You can walk to the center in 10 minutes. They have a parking under the hotel but you have to pay for it. About Jerez, we were there on a sunday evening and it was almost empty in the center and many restaurants were closed. We asked at the reception what could be the reason for that. They told it is always like that on sunday. So better to go another night.

had been removed; maybe they lost the fifth star rating because they had never developed the outdoor terrace bar & deck (a rumor) which would have been a lovely spot during warm weather. My room faced onto the interior patio and was large and very comfy; one of the very few times I've had a hotel room with TWO comfortable armchairs. There was a good assortment of bathroom amenities and even almost enough hangers (Quite often there isn't.) There was even a wash cloth/face flannel which most European hotels don't seem to provide.
The major drawback was the breakfast. There was a fairly plentiful selection onthe first day but it seemed to get scantier each day; the first morning's baguette type bread never been seen again. When I questioned this, I was told that it was the time of year when there were fewer clients so they put out less food. Understandable as a money-saving and non-food-wasting measure on the part of the hotel, but not for the guest. (There were 14 in our group and only a few tables besides ours were occupied.)
The service in the hotel was very helpful (especially Geraldine at reception) and cheerful except for the rather dour lady at breakfast.
As mentioned by other guests, there is a short walk into the center of the town where there are many places to eat (which I took advantage of on the day I arrived as the rest of the group didn't arrive until later and the hotel's offerings at mid-day didn't appeal.) as well as many historic buildings It's also only a few blocks' walk from the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Equestre

We stayed in this hotel for a few days at the beginning of April. During the first night the room became very hot as the air conditioning was not working.

I was told that they do not turn it on outside high season. For the same reason the rastaurant was closed for dinner and the swimming pool was not in use. There is no wi-fi in any of the rooms. To use it you need to go to the reception area in the other building. The hotel is on the other side of town from the train and bus station, which makes a long walk if you want to travel outside Jerez. This hotel calls itself 5 star hotel. I would rate it 3 stars at best. Although the room was clean, overall I was very disappointed with this hotel.
