everywhere- but do take some good shoes as there are a lot of cobbles and uneven pavements.
It is only a 15 minute walk from the central station which itself is only 3 stops from the airport.
Our room was spacious. It had a hairdryer and even a fridge. We overlooked the front of the hotel. The beds were comfy, the shower was always hot and the room was always kept clean. Breakfast was adequate with croissants, breads, jams, ham, eggs, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit juices, coffe and tea. There are no tea making facilities in the rooms but there is a vending drinks machine in the lobby. This also gives free hot water so you could grab some extra tea bags at breakfast if you think that you will need a "tea fix" later in the day. ( we unfortunately discovered this too late in our stay). The only downside is that there are a lot of stairs. There is a lift but for ourselves that still involved going through a lot of doors and steps on the floor where our room was. So if you have difficulty with such things make sure that you request a room close to the lift then you will be fine.Computers were also freely available in the lobby. A super 3 star hotel. I would definitely reccomend it and Amsterdam to anyone and will hopefully return myself.

a fairly pleasant street just off Dam Square so most attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is clean and fairly basic, but quite sufficient for a short break. There's no lounge, just a few comfy sofas in the entrance lobby. Breakfast is self-service in the basement - plenty of choice but mainly cold food, frequently topped-up. There's a room to store your luggage if needed. Security is very good - reception is staffed 24/7 - you have to be "buzzed in" through the front door, and then you're handed your room key on production of your card. The staff were very helpful and professional. We'd asked for a quiet room and were pleased to be allocated no. 403, on the 3rd floor and right at the back of the hotel so away from the road noise (trams do run past the front of the hotel, not sure what time they stop). We had no view as we looked down onto an inner courtyard, but personally we prefer a quiet room without a view than a noisy room with one! The room was quite spacious & well-furnished, with plenty of lamps, and the safe was concealed in the wardrobe. The bathroom was an adequate size and towels changed regularly. Would certainly stay here again if we go back to Amsterdam.

early and left our luggage in the hotel where a free safety deposit box was provided until our room was ready. The staff were very helpful with tips on where to go and the best places to visit.
The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast the next morning was very nice and extremely relaxed.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was included and had nice choices hot and cold. No airconditioning but there wwew two fans. The rate for the room was ok. The WiFi worked fine and you could use their computers near the lobby to print your airline tickets. Overall a good stay. We might stay here again depending on what else is available for the price.
