Nice hotel that was virtually deserted the 2 nights we stayed there. Nice room but no a/c so you had to rely on the altitude to keep cool. Evening dinner menu was pretty good. Breakfast is a choice of "American", "European", "Indonesian" and "Continental." Internet poor to useless and they have the brass to charge, although only 10,000 IDR per hour. Helpful staff. Bathroom was adaquate, but toliet paper was hard to come by.

Everything is quite large about this place: the hall, the giant restaurant, the large swimming pool, the enormous corridors, the rooms. It pretends to be more luxurious than it actually is. Just a good place for Rantepao. It is 3km outside town and away from the noise, which was good for us. The money you spend on the bentok (motor riksha) or bemo when you eat out at night, is easily earned back because the restaurants in town are much cheaper and better than the hotel restaurant.

Not so many choices here in this small city. This hotel is okay, but don't expect to much in this rather remote city. No AC. Service friendly.

Very comfortable, large pool, friendly staff. But food was very average - better restaurants elsewhere. No internet.

Not much choice in Rantepao these days if you're not a backpacker – so a lot of tourists who appreciate a certain standard end up here. Very friendly staff (albeit sometimes a bit on the slow side); the hotel doubles as a hospitality school. Forget about the food and try one of the many good and cheap restaurants in town!
