We checked inn this hotel 20th April 2013 and checked out on 23 April 2013. It is a perfect hotel. Our room (Room No. 108) was spacious and nicely decorated, bed was comfortable, our room had an attached bathroom/toilet though tub wasn't there, also our room had a balcony with a street view, WIFI was available in the room. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is not in central of zurich but still is very convenient location as the tram stop is just outside the hotel and it takes about 5 minutes only in tram to reach zurich central. I would love to stay at Leonardo Hotel again during my next visit to Zurich.

I have stayed in Leonardo for a business trip in Zuirch, it is an old building which was renovated to accommodate as a hotel. So the rooms are rather small, but adequately designed and decorated for a business traveler.
the location is really good, since it is just few stops away from Zurich central where the train station is, if the weather allows it is only 15 mins walking though. there are pretty much restaurants and bakeries around so you will not go hungry anyway. The hotel restaurant is nice and neat but the food varieties are limited so i suggest to eat outside as there are more options available.
the hotel receptionists are lovely and helpful and their English is quite ok i would say. The room service is not available but you may check since it really depends on the weather! but room cleaning is done everyday.
there is no aircondition for summer time but i guess it will not get warm as well.

Not having free wifi is a major sin in these days. This hotel doesn't even offer it in the common areas.
The room was small and right next to the street so the noise from the tram is a big issue when trying to sleep well.
It is not very close to the major attractions but close to a tram stop and market.
Breakfast is not included and very expensive.
