Decent but Sketchy

It's about a 40 minute (in traffic) drive from the airport. Definitely in a sketchy part of town but close (15 minute rickshaw ride) to a mall (if that ... more is your thing).
Very high building overlooking a river where in the morning the sound of the villagers beating their laundry on the rocks is the banging that you'll hear. The beds are rock solid hard and very uncomfortable. Breakfast is buffet style and basic but not the cleanest (dishes and linens were dirty).
There was free internet access on every floor via a computer located in a wing on each floor. However, access was incredibly slow.
When the weather is hot the stench of garbage from the river is pretty bad. Overall the room was clean and the staff helpful. less
