Designed by a British architect, the grand Lall Garh Palace reflects a synthesis of the British, Rajput (Indian) and Mughal architectural styles. The palace, which has been entirely built of red sandstone, presents an excellent work of art with its delicate lattice screens, arches, chatris and domes and exudes a romantic air. It is also conveniently close to the Bikaner railway station at a distance of only 3 kms.
