As with everywhere else in India, this place has AMAZING SERVICE! It is also on a very beautiful property overlooking a river and enclosed by trees. There are ... more animals on the property that are just wonderful to wake up to... a duck, a cock and hen, rabbits, and many many different and beautiful birds. We went during their off season, so I think the place was a little different than it would have been during peak season. The room was large and beautiful, but we found that the humidity made it seem sticky until the a/c had ran for a night. We were also lacking a top sheet on the bed, and the pillowcases made me glad that I brought my own. They were cleaned, but what the humidity of the monsoon season does to fabric is less than desirable. The resort is very similar to the camping resorts we have in north america where you can rent a cottage and there is a shared dining hall. I would reccommend it if you want to see India's wilderness, but maybe bring a sheet! I can't overstate the service, we were HOURS late arriving, but the staff stayed up for us to make sure we had dinner and everything we needed before we went to bed! less
