Koyna Backwater Camp, Mahabaleshwar

Location
This camp is set on the splendid back waters of the Koyna River near Mahabaleshwar which flows in North-South direction unlike the other river in the region which flows East-West. Koyna River is a tributary of Krishna River and is famous for Koyna Dam and Hydroelectrical Project. The Backwaters of the Koyna Dam create one of the largest freshwater lakes in India. The nearby must visit tourist attractions are; Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Vasota Fort, Nageshwar Caves, Koyna Dam and Hydroelectric Project.

Set amidst the stunning nature backdrop, this river camp has 20 luxury tents. The tents have attached toilets and showers with 24 hour running water. There is also full service kitchen and dining area.
