right in the middle - 15th Hair Pin (there is a sign board right at Hairpin, you can't miss it). The views from the room are fantastic. While booking ask for rooms that overlook the ghats. One of the nights, we had the mist covering the complete resort - and it was almost dream like - unbelievable. You can also do some nice walks around the resort.
Rooms provided were nice and big sized. Every room has satelite TV. The rooms have a fireplace, and cieling fan and no A/c. The weather at this time of the year (April) was surprisingly cold and we did not miss the A/c at all. There is also a big seating area overlooking the beautiful ghats - we were a group of friends, and we completely used this space for sitting and catching up. The resort is right in the middle of an tea estate, so there is enough space for kids to play or for you to take a stroll or spend a nice relaxing evening outdoors. Swimming pool is available, but we could not use it as it was under repair for leakage.
Room service was fine - we could get hot water, tea, coffee as we ordered without delay. We also got help from the staff from time to time. Food provided was good - breakfast buffet is offered. Lunch and Dinner are made to order. They dont serve you for dinner/lunch, its almost like self service once they deliver the food. One unpleasant experience was the power outage one of the nights - but, as the weather was very cold, we did not miss anything.
The resort has ample parking place. The way to the parking place is quite steep, but should be quite manageable if you have already driven down to this place.
If you are of the kind who loves silence and wants to be in nature - and do not mind missing some pampering with service - this is *the* place for you! I would seriously recommend this resort.
Tip: sometimes local police stop traffic from Ooty to Masinagudi (they want to reduce two way traffic on ghats as much as possible) - but, if you tell them that your resort is right on that road, they allow you to continue. They ask you for some proof, like business card of the resort - so, carry such proofs. In our case, we called the resort and made them talk to the Police.

from below. So do not get lost, keep looking for the numbers. Amazing location with overview of the valley and jungle. Would recommend to check in to Vintage rooms only as they have got the valley view. Heritage rooms are not bad but no valley view. Rooms are elegant and spacious. Neat and clean bathrooms. Additional fire place in Vintage rooms. Service is very slow wrt kitchen. But, food is excellent, both veg and non veg. Seems, they have shortage of chefs. So, please request to order your food at least 45 min before you want to eat. No hot water in afternoon. Only in morning and evening. So, people checking in in afternoon be prepared to take bath with cold water. :(
This is right place for people who wants to relax and is not in hurry to cover lot of places. Better go in a group and enjoy the evenings sitting in the resort overlooking the valley. Recommended for groups/couples staying together. Single couple might get bored as there is not much to do in resort. Well maintained property. There is a swimming pool in the resort but they have stopped it as animals would come to drink water. So, no need to carry your swim suits....Will visit again.
