Stayed two nights in the property, no great deal, check in was slow inspite of advance booking. Hospitality of Marriott was missing, which is USP of hotel, rooms were ok, lake view room was not available. The OKRA food was good, Mr Sridhar at restaurant was more than helpful in making you comfortable. Overall pleasant stay.

Marriott Hotel is an out and out business hotel but I would equally recommend it for holiday travels, as the location is superb. Located bang on Hussain Sagar lake, offering
pleasant view of the lake from many of its room, close to all the major attractions, markets, best connectivity and access of all sorts of transport. Check in was tardy though the reception was deserted being a weekend and ours was a late check in. We had requested for inter connected room, surprisingly the same was mentioned on my booking but the hotel did not had any intimation of the same. The room we were checked in had heavy smell of dampness, on our complaint we were shifted to different room. Other than this the entire experience was flawless. The hotel has all amenities, nice room and very good restaurant. The breakfast service in morning is good with lots of option and hospitable server. I would recommend the south indian selection, amongst the best I had so far. Would recommend Vaishak, front desk executive who was helpful in giving practical tips for our trip to Ramoji Film City as we were short on time. His assistance at the time of check out is also commended.
Advise to hotel to get the panes facing Hussain Sagar lake to be cleaned on a more regular basis, untidy windows bloat the beautiful lake view.

Stayed at this place for 4 nights with my wife & kid and found the place to be refreshing & welcoming. The check-in process was very smooth (check-out as well)
and no waiting time even though we checked-in good 2 hrs before the slated check-in time. I got an upgrade (3rd stage room - 'Lake view", part of the overall reservation though), but was slightly disappointed given the size of the room & my expectations on what would be an actual sight of the 'Lake view'. Room was smaller than I expected & the 'Lake view' experience was not that scintillating either. My room view opened right in-front of a sewage and the Hussain Sagar lake was quite some distance across the road. But I guess, the hotel management can do nothing about this. Barring the sewage factor, the view offered some good glances of the sunset & sunrise across the lake.
The room was neat & decently maintained, bathroom was uncomfortable though with the bathing area only consisting of the bath tub and appeared to be little cramped. Housekeeping segment was satisfactory with an additional evening service also being present, along with the normal daily service.
The standout part of my stay was dining at OKRA restaurant. Our package had dinner as well (along with the Breakfast) and we were extremely pleased with the demeanour of the staff at OKRA. Food was brilliant with quite a good spread but the only thing that I missed was a non-alcoholic drink to be part of the dinner buffet menu. But other than that, I found the food especially the South Indian cuisine to be really of top-class standard. The service was immaculate too and hats-off to the serving team at OKRA. We were dining with our infant son, but they took extra care in setting up a very good experience for us. So really a '5 star" for the entire team at OKRA.
Other amenities - nothing much to write home about though. The swimming pool is pretty small and could be maintained in a better manner. There are no other spots within the property to explore either. I couldn't check-out the gym facilities though.
Overall, I found the stay to be really refreshing and "VALUE FOR MONEY". I guess this should be a preferred place to stay in Hyderabad for people seeking 'value' at '5 star comforts'.

The room is clean and the bed is heavenly comfy. But it kinda turn me off when I found out there is no slipper provided. The hotel serves great breakfast with wide selection. The staffs are very attentive and they'll ensure you're not going to wait for more than 1 minutes in front of any breakfast station. Must try their Sweet Lassi and Tosai! I would also specially thank Ravi from the lounge who always able to offer assistance before we request.

Normally we stay in the sister hotel the Marriott Courtyard, but this made a nice change. This is the larger of the two connecting hotels. Rooms are good size, clean
and well equipped. The hotel decor is neither dazzling nor drab, sort of pleasantly above average. My king size bed was exceptionally comfortable, always handy when dealing with jet lag. We ate breakfast and lunch in the hotel restaurant, which overlooks a small swimming pool. There was a wide selection of European, Asian and indian food, and lots of fresh fruit. Service was prompt and friendly. There is also a popular bar with inside and outside seating, used by locals and guests, on the top floor with cool views over the city. So in my opinion you can't go wrong with this hotel if visiting on business.
